One of the main attractions of any open-sea game is treasure hunting, and this is no different forRobloxArcane Odyssey. Though you won’t be able to look for treasure in the traditional fashion during the early game since you have to find a Shovel. Moreover, you’ll also be looking for the Treasure Charts.

There are plenty of islands in the Bronze Sea, and the charts can take you to any one of them randomly. You’ll also have to learn how to read the clues provided in the chart since the game doesn’t hand you the treasure location for free.
How To Get A Shovel
There are multiple ways to get a Shovel in Roblox Arcane Odyssey, but most of them are luck-based.The only guaranteed way to get it is a quest provided by Scott Nebula in The Stepstones area. You’ll be able to get to the area at the very start of the game, but the level required to get this quest is quite high.
You have to belevel 40 or more to continue the main quest in The Stepstones, and your spawn will also be set to this area during it. Find and talk to Scott Nebula in the area once you get there, and he’ll ask you if you’re there for his treasure-seeking challenge. He’ll also give you a Shovel when you accept the quest.
you’re able to also get lucky and find a Shovel in a random Sailor Chest scattered all around the world.These chests can spawn on any of the chest locations on different islands, and they can also wash up on the beaches. There’s quite a low chance to get Shovel from these, especially in the early game.
Finally, you’ll see some merchant ships when you’re sailing the seas.You can get on these ships and talk to the person near the wheel, and they might have Shovel in stock. Once again, it’s luck based to find the item here and you might even find the Golden Shovel.
How To Find Scott Nebula’s Treasure
When you have the quest given by Scott equipped, you’ll see a marker past the bridge to the east.Head over to the bridge and jump down from the other edge, as shown above. You can dig in the middle of the tree and the rock down below to get the required treasure.
Unlike other treasures that you’ll find, you don’t have to pick this up.You can simply go back and talk to Scott to finish the quest. He’ll congratulate you for finishing the challenge and give you the rewards. You’ll also start having a higher chance of coming across Treasure Charts once you get the Shovel.
You can get Treasure Charts from Scroll Chests scattered all across the map.These chests can randomly drop different rarities of Treasure Charts and Scrolls. The Scrolls are used to enchant a certain item of your choice while the Treasure Chart can be used to find treasure.
The number of treasure locations written in a particular chart increases with its rarity. For example,a common Treasure Chart has only one location while the uncommon rarity has two.
How To Solve Treasure Charts
If you’ve got your hands on the Shovel and a Treasure Chart, it’s time to start deciphering the code. The line written on the chart has three pieces of information:
Location
There’ll be a name of the island that the treasure is buried on somewhere in the line.You can simply go through it, find this location, and start sailing to it first. There are plenty of islands in Arcane Odyssey, so you’ll have to unlock the entire map before you start looking for treasure.
Height
There are two types of heights mentioned in Treasure Charts.It’ll either say that the treasure is on a cliff or near sea level. Based on the given height, you have to look for a specific plot to dig.
Direction
This is the hardest part of treasure hunting.The chart will mention that the treasure is in a certain direction from the center of the island or at a certain edge. You have to find the correct location based on these directions since it’s not feasible to dig an entire island.
If the chart says that the treasure is in a certain direction from the middle of the island,you’re able to simply zoom in on the island all the way and drag it to the compass on your map. Put the middle of the compass in the middle of an island and you’ll be able to figure out the exact location.
The treasure location is based on different tiles in Arcane Odyssey.This means that you’ll get the treasure if you dig anywhere on a particular tile, and you don’t have to pinpoint a specific spot. you may tell different tiles apart in some cases since their designs or heights are different, but you might have to do trial and error in an open field.
Upon finding the correct location, you’ll be able to dig four to five treasures around the area.One of these chests will be a Bronze Sealed Chest that can be taken to a Shipwright to open. You can get plenty of rare weapons and ingredients when you’re hunting for treasure this way.
It’s also important toremember that a Treasure Chart is not permanently in your inventory. If you die or leave the game, the chart will instantly despawn.On the other hand, scrolls stay in your inventory until you trade, use, or sell them.
