Whenever a new area is released inGenshin Impact, it usually comes with its own World Quest that unlocks secret locations. For the areas released in the version 3.6 update, this quest is called Khvarena of Good and Evil where the Traveler attempts to get rid of the Signs of Apaosha.

During this quest, you’ll meet a new race called the Pari. After meeting a Pari called Zurvan, she’ll ask you to save Mihir and Rashnu from different locations. The Awakening’s Real Sound quest will show you the location where you’re able to save the second Pari mentioned.
How To Get Clues From The Cavern
The Hills Of Barsom can be found in the northern part of the Realm Of Farakhkert, and you can identify it with a blossoming pink tree on the map.Teleport to the area and you’ll find Nasejuna standing in front of the tree. The dialogue with him will be quite long, and he’ll tell you about different drums and his ancestors.
After the dialogue, you’ll have to get to a cavern that might have clues regarding the drums. As you get there, Nasejuna will place some explosives to break the initial wall blocking the cavern. When you get out of this dialogue,three small Rifthounds will spawn and you’ll have to defeat them before proceeding.
Once the enemies are defeated, locate the floating Khvarena near the cavern to the right side, as shown above.Get into its radius and follow it to the Dark Crystals blocking the path. Enter the cave and you’ll see three sand piles that can be removed using any ability infused with Anemo.
The first two sand piles will reveal two small Anemo Fungi each, so you’re able to ignore these if you want to.
Thethird sand pile deeper into the cave will reveal the Dendro drum. This pile will be past the bell in here.
You already got your first Kory Drum at the start of the Khvarena of Good and Evil quest, and this is the second one.That leaves three more drums belonging to different elements. The clues found in the tavern will reveal the general locations of the other three Korybantes (Kory Drums), but you’ll have to do something else first.
How To Find Kory Drums
As you finish the dialogue in the cavern, five areas will be marked with blue markers around you. These locations willcontain the Drum Scores that will be used on each drum at the end of this quest. Collect all five scores to progress to the next part where the quest will mark the locations of the final three Korybantes.
You’ll also have to defeat some Treasure Hoarders or Hilichurls near the Drum Scores, but it’s not necessary.
You can alwayscopy the scores by heading to the aura near them and completely ignore the enemies.
Samjna Korybantes Location
To get to the first drum, teleport to the Waypoint shown above anddrop to the blue marker’s direction until you see a Seelie outside a cave. Grapple to the Seelie and follow it inside, and it’ll lead you to the puzzle that you have to solve to get this drum. You’ll eventually reach an area filled with water.
Swim to the bell on top of this area. When you touch this bell,it’ll spawn four Dendro particles that you’ll have to claim with your character. You have to get these particles within two minutes by passing your character through them, though you won’t see anything that can help you reach them.
To solve this puzzle, you’ll find a unique grapple right above you.Activate the bell once and memorize where the particles are spawned. Next, switch over to Sorush and use your Elemental Skill button when you’re near the grapple. This will let her pick up the Grapple and place it somewhere nearby.
The challenge will cancel when you switch to Sorush, and you can’t claim the particles with her.
Thoughyou can usecharacters like Wandereror Kazuhaif you don’t want to bother changing the grapple’s location.
Use the newly placed grapple to obtain the four particles andthe water will lower so that you can reach the second bell. Follow the same procedure thrice and defeat some Hydro Slimes to get this Korybantes in a secluded area.
Sankhara Korybantes Location
To get this drum, teleport to the Statue of the Seven shown above andfall in the blue marker’s direction until you see a pathway with one Hydro Hilichurl Rogue blocking it. Defeat the enemy and keep following the blue marker until you see an Electro bell inside a giant room. You’ll also see the Korybantes blocked by a red circle.
When you touch the bell, you’ll have to find hordes of Electro Slimes and Electro Lawachurl. Defeat the enemies and you’ll be able to claim the Sankhara Korybantes.
Vijnana Korybantes Location
For the final Korybantes, head to the Waypoint to the west and follow the blue marker. When you reach the location, you’ll see the blocked drum with a Pyro bell near it.You’ll get a flame beside your character when you activate this bell. You need to light up seven flame altars before the flame goes out.

If you don’t get all seven flames on the first try,Sorush will guide you in the second run. Simply follow her to find all the altars.
Claim the final Korybantes to continue to the next part of the quest.
How To Awaken Rashnu
After talking to Nasejuna and Sorush at the giant tree, you can place all the Korybantes in the locations marked by the blue markers. Once they’re placed,you have to play them in a specific way based on the Drum Scores you copied earlier. You’ll get two options when you get near a certain drum.
When you check a certain Drum Score,you’ll see four leaves that can be of three different types. You have to use a certain method based on the type of leaf, and you can perform the combination from left to right:
Empty Leaf (marked as 1 above)
Perform a pause, which means don’t do anything for that part
Partially Filled Leaf (marked as 2 above)
Perform a basic attack
Fully Filled Leaf (marked as 3 above)
Perform a Plunge Attack
Once you memorize the combination of a certain Korybantes, it’s time to begin performance. As soon as you select that option,you’ll get a cyan aura around the character that will allow you to jump higher for an easy plunge attack. You’ll also see a yellow aura coming on top of the drum at regular intervals.
You have to perform in a specific way only when you see this aura.If you have an Empty Leaf that requires you to do nothing, simply let this aura go away on its own. Perform the correct combination of pause, basic attack, and plunge attack to activate the Korybantes successfully.
Rashnu will awaken after all five drums are activated, andyou can take her back to the oasis to finish the quest.
Awakening’s Real Sound Rewards
Once you take Rashnu to the oasis and finish the quest,you’ll unlock an achievement called “The Tree on the Hill”. Moreover, you’ll also get plenty of rewards for going through this quest:
