After their stormy investigation of the destroyed forest in Ard Skellig, Geralt and Yennefer pursue their next lead at the village of Lofoten. InThe Witcher 3quest Missing Persons, they deal with the aftermath of the Wild Hunt’s attack and attempt to understand what Ciri was doing in the otherwise unremarkable village.

While short, this quest lets you soak in the results of a Wild Hunt raid. It also lets you spend more time with Yennefer and get used to the single-minded way she operates, considering that she’s been absent for most of the game up to this point.

Getting To Lofoten

The best way to go about this would be toagree to follow Yenneferto Lofoten at the end ofEchoes of the Past.Picking this option would let youteleport directly to the village.Otherwise, you will have to sail your way there.

Skellige hasno shortage of boats.Geralt can simply commandeer one and sail over to the island. While it is a lengthy trip, you will get toexplore parts of Skelligein the process.

Watch out for sirens when sailing. These flying monsters willlatch on to your boatand damage it. You will have toshoot them with your crossbowto dislodge them.

A cutscene will play once youmeet Yennefer at Lofoten.

Talking About The Missing Persons

The town is still recovering from the Wild Hunt’s raid as Ermion had warned. While it is a delicate time, Yennefer decides that Ciri can’t wait. The sorceress willask a group of surviving priestessesabout Ciri and what she might have been doing.

Like many things involving Yennefer,you are not going to be in control.She will question the priestesses in whatever way she feels appropriate.

The priestesses did not see Ciri that day, though they knew that a man named Cravenhad been with her.He hadabandoned the village in their time of needand was shamed as a consequence. He went toFreya’s Garden to slay a monsterin a bid to clear his name.

The questIn Wolf’s Clothingwill begin here if you haven’t started it yet andagreed to fight the monster. You may want totalk to the relevant villagersbefore leaving Lofoten if you aim to finish it.

This quest ends once you reach Freya’s Garden where the next quest,Nameless, begins.
