In this comprehensive guide, we’ll take an in-depth look at Uzuri’s unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, and provide you with tips, tricks, and strategies to help you build a winning deck and dominate your opponents on the battlefield.
Uzuri Playstyle
Uzuri is an Assassin hero that was introduced in the Outsiders set. With the ability to swap attackingstealth cards in play with attack actions of cost two or less from handduring the reaction step, Uzuri is a force to be reckoned with.
Her attacks, includingCommand and Conquer,Leave no Witnesses,Death Touch,Surgical Extraction, andShake Down, make it difficult to block out Uzuri decks.

Uzuri’s aggressive mid-range play style is her most formidable asset. She only needs two cards -one stealth card and one big on-hit card- to achieve her baseline game plan, leaving her with two to three spare cards every turn cycle. This flexibility allows her toadapt to any opponent, whether it be a defensive or aggro deck. She canhedge her extra cards for more resource cardsto break down defensive decks or for above-rate go-again attacks and extra disruption to keep up in the race against aggro decks.
Uzuri’s attacks are detrimental if allowed to hit, with Command and Conquer and Leave no Witnesses destroying the opponent’s powerful arsenal cards, and Death Touch offering flexibility in the choice of token.

Surgical Extraction and Shake Down also allow you tolook at the opponent’s hand and take away their most powerful card, shutting down their plan.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Uzuri, the new Assassin hero in Flesh and Blood, has quickly become a popular choice due to her unique abilities and potent attacks. However, as with any hero, Uzuri has her own set of strengths and weaknesses that you must consider when building a deck and playing in a match.
Notes
Potent Attacks
Uzuri’s attacks, such as Command and Conquer, Leave no Witnesses, Death Touch, Surgical Extraction, and Shake Down, are incrediblypowerful and have devastating on-hit effects that can destroy opponent’s powerful arsenal cards, disrupt their plan, and deal damage.
Flexibility
Uzuri’s ability toswap attacking stealth cardsin play with attack actions from hand during the reaction step gives her incredible flexibility in combat. This ability allows her toadapt to different situations and respond to her opponent’s moves with ease.
Spare Cards
Uzuri’s playstyle requires only two cards to achieve her baseline game plan, which means she typically has two tothree spare cards every turn cycle. This flexibility allows her to adapt to her opponent’s strategy and keep the pressure on them.
Mid-range Aggression
Uzuri’s playstyle is aggressive and mid-range, which allows her tocontrol the tempo of the game and put pressure on her opponent. This strategy can quickly break down defenses and create opportunities for lethal attacks.
Dagger Synergy
Uzuri has access to all the daggers introduced in Outsiders, which gives her additional options and synergies in combat. These daggers allow her tocreate powerful chains of attacks that can overwhelm her opponent.
Overall, Uzuri’s flexibility, potent attacks, dagger synergy, spare cards, and mid-range aggression make her a powerful hero in Flesh and Blood that can be difficult to counter.
Weakness
On the other hand, Uzuri’s weaknesses includereliance on attack actions with a cost of two or fewer, vulnerability to brute force strategies, anddifficulty dealing with opponents who have high defense. Uzuri’s ability to swap attacking stealth cards with attack actions from hand is limited to those with cost two or less, which canrestrict her options in certain situations.
Additionally, brute force strategies that focus ondealing with high amounts of damage quickly can be difficult for Uzuri to handle. Her playstyle is aggressive, which can leave her open to counterattacks and defensive strategies.
Finally, opponents with high defense can be challengingfor Uzuri to deal with since her attacks are potent but can be blocked if the opponent has enough defense cards in hand or on the board.
Therefore, while Uzuri is a powerful hero in Flesh and Blood, she is not without her weaknesses. If you’re using her, please bemindful of her limitations and work to overcome them through strategic play and careful deck-building.
Variations
There are two variations of Uzuri decks in Flesh and Blood that you can build.

Uzuri’s aggressive mid-range playstyle is centered around having the most valuable cards in her deck for any given matchup, allowing her to remain adaptable to the expected diverse meta.

You can remove a card with one power from your graveyard as an extra payment to play Searching for a Scrap. You can then move forward once more after this gains +1 Power.
Give and Take
You may put an action card from your graveyard that has a cost lower than Give and Take’s Power on top of your deck whenever Give and Take is protected by an action card.
Vambrace of Determination
Once per turn, the following preventive effect that mitigates Power damage this turn mitigates 1 less of that damage. You may spend one resource when this defends. It receives +1 Armor and blade break if you do. (If this is still guarded when the fight chain is closed, destroy it.)
Remembrance
Three or more action cards from your graveyard may be shuffled into your deck.
Spreading Plague
Generate X Bloodrot Pox tokens under the ownership of the defending hero, where X equals the quantity of defenders represented by this chain link.
Sneak Attack
Sneak Attack gains +4 Power if you’ve played or used an attack reaction during this chain connection.
Attack Reactions
Another variant for Uzuri is focused on attack reactions, adding an extra layer of complexity to the opponent’s ability to block her attacks.
