Basic Combo

The basic combo for Kashtira in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game involves using its powerful effect to destroy your opponent’s monsters during battle while protecting them from being destroyed by your opponent’s cards. Here’s how the combo works:

By activatingPressured Planet Wraitsoth, you can add Kashtira Unicorn from your deck to your hand. Then you canspecial summon the Unicornand use the effect to add Kashtiratheosis. Kashtiratheosis then lets you target and special summon Kashtira Fenrir from your deck indefense position,by using your Unicorn as a material.

Fenrir Monster in Kashtira Deck

With the effect of Kashtira Fenrir, you can addKashtira Riseheartfrom your deck to your hand. And since you control a Kashtira monster, you can also special summon Riseheart from your hand. Next, you canuse both Unicorn and Fenrirto overlay them for Kashtira Shangri-Ira. After that, you canuse the effect of the Riseheartthat’s still on the field to banish a Kashtira Big Bang from your deck, and in exchange, banish three cards from the top of your opponent’s deck face-down, whilemaking Riseheart level 7.

Then, you cantrigger both Shangri-Irato block off your opponent’s zone from being used, and cast your big bang disposal on either of your cast monsters that are attached to Shangri-Ira. And because you successfully used the effect of Shangri-Ira, you canshuttle out Kashtira Arise-Heart, using Riseheart as a material.

Scareclaw Monster in Kashtira Deck

Finally, during your opponent’s stand-by phase, you’re able to activate the effect of Shangri-Ira to dispose of another Kashtira monster from your deck, adding to the power of your deck. So, with a single Wraitsoth, you have Shangri-Ira Road to block zones and summon another Kashtira from your deck.

Unicorn and Extender Combo

For the second combo, you’re able to start with Unicorn plus an Extender. Extender here you can use Scareclaw Kashtira or Tearlament Kashtira. Here’s how the combo works:

As usual, you canuse Prime Planet Paraisosto summon a Unicorn, and then use its effect to summon the Kashtira Papiyas card.

Kashtira Ariseheart in Kashtira Deck

Next, you can activate Papiyasand target the Unicorn to special summon Fenrir. After Fenrir’s effect is active, you can choose to summon Scareclaw, Tearlament, or Riseheart. Then, you canuse both Unicorn and Fenriragain to overlay for Kashtira Shangri-Ira.

you may alsouse the effects of Riseheartagain to banish Big Bang. Then, you can activate the effects of Shangri-Ira and Big Bang to do the special summon of Unicorn again. In your hand, you already have theScareclawExtender, and you can activate its effect tobanish one Kashtira card, namely Papiyas. The effect of Papiyas will be active, and you can recover Big Bag again.

Kashtira Deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! 1

Here, you can use level 7 monstersto summonDiablosisandKashtira Arise-Heart. Next, you canuse the effect from Diablosisto attach, even though it will be banned because there is Arise-Heart. After a card has been banned, you can trigger the Arise-Heart effect. After being attached, you will trigger the effects of Shangri-Ira and Diablosisbecause there are cards that are banned face-down.

Because your Arise-Heart already has three materials, you’re able to use the effect to target one card in the field and banish it face-down, triggering the effect of Diablosis to destroy the top 7 cards of your opponent’s deck. This can significantly decrease the size of their deck. You can alsouse the effect of Shangri-Ira, which can eliminate one zone.

If your opponent activates a monster effect, you can alsoactivate the effect of Unicorn to banish one more card from the opponent’s extra deck. And if needed, you can activate the effect of Shangri-Ira again to remove one more zone.

Key Cards

To arrange a deck, of course, you need the right combo and card arrangement. For the Kashtira Deck itself, there are key cards that you must enter into your deck, here is the list:

Notes

Kashtira Fenrir

All Kashtira monsters have the sameSpecial Summon ability, which is also a relatively typical Special Summon effect for higher-level monsters in the game: Special Summon if your opponent controls a monster while you do not. Kashtira Fenrir has this ability as well. Fenrir is the archetype’s monster hunter, and since there are only three creatures in total (including the archetype itself), you have to find them quickly.

Kashtira Unicorn

If you don’t have any monsters on the field, Unicorn—like other Kashtira Main Deck monsters—can Special Summon itself.Level 7 has regular ATK/DEF at that level, much as all the others. Your Kashtira Spell searcher, Unicorn, finds the Field Spell Kashtira Birth for you from the Deck (the only Spell currently in the TCG). If you want to see the archetype’s cards as soon as you can because there are so few of them. It is important thatUnicorn pushes its effect through since getting to Birth helpsyou get to other things. When an opponent’s monster is activated or when you make an attack declaration, all Kashtira monsters gain a second effect. A face-down creature from theopponent’s Extra Deck is banished by Unicorn. If you drop Unicorn on your first turn and challenge your opponent to play a monster effect, it can be useful and powerful.

Kashtira Shangri-Ira

Shangri-Ira can be summoned with as few as two Level 7 monstersor as many as you like. You won’t be winning any battles with 0ATK/3000DEF, but you can remove material to save it from being destroyed, therefore the more resources you have, the better. You are entitled to a free Special Summon of a Kashtira from your Deck during each Standby Phase, giving you an advantage of two Kashtira every full turn over your opponent. Due to theKashtira Main Deck monsters' ability to banish themselves in response to your opponent’s monster effects, this effect keeps bodies on the field to safeguard your LP and compels your opponent to prioritize.
