You’ll unlock Sentinel early on, and you can also find Devil Dinosaur in the first set, allowing you to build a strong combo. While it may seem like a strange combo initially, these two cards can work together to improve your deck and help you win more matches, so learn how to use them effectively.

The Devil Dinosaur Card

The Devil Dinosaur seems like a weak card initially since it costs five energy but only gives you three power. However, its strength comes from its ongoing ability: for each card in your hand, itgains two power.

If you can generate more cards and build them up, your Devil Dinosaur can enter an area and sweep it. The deck allows you to utilize a few strategies, depending on how you want to use it.

How It Works

Securing A Location

you’re able to use the card tosecure a locationyou didn’t have before. If you can get enough cards in your hand, you can turn an area around and quickly get over 15 points from your Devil Dinosaur, allowing you steal a location during turn five or six.

Sweeping A Location

On the other hand, you may want to take an area you didn’t utilize earlier. You may have purposefully not put cards there to have yourDevil Dinosaur overtake itlater. Using it with another powerful card, like Onslaught, can turn the area around.

The Sentinel Card

To get the most out of your deck, you should build your hand, making Sentinel a great option. It’s a low-cost card at only two points while offering three points to the location.

You play Sentinel on the board anddraw one into your hand, so the number remains the same even though you played a card. Since you start each turn drawing a card, you get to play Sentinel whileincreasing your hand, which means your Devil Dinosaur will have two more power when you play it.

Using The Devil Dinosaur Sentinel Deck

You’ll havefour situations to rememberas you utilize this deck since you can encounter various circumstances.

The Strategy

Getting Sentinel and Devil Dinosaur early

Use your Sentinel cardas much as possibleto build up your hand. You should also use other cards to build your hand if you have them. Some locations will multiply your cards, helping you build them faster.

Getting Devil Dinosaur, but not Sentinel

Look out for the Sentinel card and use it if it appears. Otherwise, you shouldonly use one card a turn, so you maintain your Devil Dinosaur’s strength until you can use other card generation options, like Moon Girl.

Getting Sentinel early, but not Devil Dinosaur

Feel free touse Sentinel to generate more cardsin your hand. However, this can be a double-edged sword since you could draw Devil Dinosaur, but if you don’t, you’ll have your field filled with Sentinel cards, which can impact your win. Instead, attempt to place yourSentinel cards at one location, allowing you to put your powerful cards in the other two locations.

Not getting either card

The other cards in your deck are meant to be strong together while utilizing ongoing effects. You can use themalongside Onslaughtor take advantage of the Hulk to maximize your points.

Even though you should adjust your game plan, the first two situations will be yourgeneral game plans.

Since you can’t guarantee you’ll get the Devil Dinosaur or Sentinel cards, pick cards that are powerful on their own. That way, you can secure the win if you don’t draw them.

Alternate Devil Dinosaur Sentinel Deck Card Options

If you don’t like the deck listed above, you can try afew alternate cardsto see if they match your playstyle. As you keep playing the game, feel free to adjust it and see what works best.
