A farming life simulator game isn’t complete if you cannot marry your favorite townie. You may not be able to have children, butSun Havenlets you find your match and romance them. There are up to two different towns in the game other than Sun Haven,and they are also filled with bachelorette candidates.

There are certain steps you need to take to make a townie interested in you. You can’t just walk up to them and propose. Each villager has up to 25 friendship hearts that you need to fill up in order to keep them happy. Here’s how to do just that.
Nathaniel Overview
Nathaniel is one of the first characters you meet at the beginning of the game. Upon reaching Sun Haven, you are greeted by him and Lucia. Nathaniel is the captain above all guards and fighters in Sun Haven. He spends his days patrolling and keeping the town safe from danger.
Because Nathaniel is a patrolling guard, it is hard to catch him in one place. He will be patrolling the entire town throughout the day,staying in one spot for only an hour before moving on to the next area.If he cannot be found in the locations below, then he is currently walking to the next.
Guide To Marry Nathaniel
The first thing you have to do when you are romancing a character isgift them things every day. At the start, you can only fill ten of their hearts. During this period, Nathaniel will ask you to go on two dates.These dates do not solidify that you are dating him. You are not officially dating a character until ten hearts are full and you have gifted them aLove Letter.
Gifting items the character “Loves/Likes” will fill up to two and a half hearts.
Gifting favorited items isn’t necessary, though.For instance, you can gift Nathaniel apples every day, and you can still reach marriage.
By heading to the Relationship menu in your inventory, you can find Nathaniel and hover over the book sticking out of his menu. This book will list every item that will greatly increase his hearts when gifted.After your first two dates, Nathaniel will gift you with Nathaniel’s Record and Nathaniel’s Helmet.
ALove Letter can be purchased from Bernardinside Town Center for 25 Community Tokens.Community Coins are earned through completing Bulletin Boardquests or pop-up side quests from NPCs.Gifting a Love Letter will unlock the next five heartsfor that character.
To unlock the remaining five hearts, you will have to propose to Nathaniel.A Wedding Ring can be purchased from Bernard for 100 Community Tokens. Plan the day that you propose, asthe wedding will occur the following day.
You don’t want your wedding to collide with a town event because there have been reports of bugs where the wedding won’t happen.
You will know when it is time to propose whenall available hearts are full, and you have run through enough different cycles of dialoguewith them during dating.
There is an achievementfor marrying someone in Sun Haven called “I Do”.
It is possible to have hearts removed if you hurt Nathaniel’s feelings.Being unsupportive, generally disregarding, and giving his gifts back to him will make him upset and ruin your chances of progressing to marriage.

What you wear to the wedding is what you will stay in for the ceremony.
If you want a fancy outfit for the occasion, it’s best to buy it beforehand and change out of any armor you have on.
