How To Complete In-isa Shrine: The Ability To Combine
When you enter In-isa shrine, you’ll be confronted with a short cutscene in which you obtain theFuse ability, just like in the previous shrine where you obtained Ultrahand. As before, this shrine serves as a tutorial to your new ability.Ahead of you are two items - aRusty Claymoreand alarge rock. Pick up and equip the weapon, and then use your fancy new ability (using the L button) toFuse the rock to it. You’ll have created aBoulder Hammer, which has the ability to break fragile rocks.Use this weapon todestroy the cracked rock panelsahead of you. Press on.
Attaching rocks to weapons is something you should get used to - it’s a very simple and effective way todestroy common obstacles and mine for ore.
In the next room, you’ll have the option to turn right or go straight on. Turn right for now, and you’ll be in a room filled withFire Fruit, aWooden Bow, and some Arrows. Pick everything up and learn how to useFuse with arrows.Hold ZR to aim your bow, thenhold the Upbutton to open the Fuse menu.Releasing the Up buttonwill Fuse the currently-selected item to your current arrow.Use aFire Fruitto create a fiery arrow, and fire this at the dryleaves on the wallin front of you. Open the chest that falls down.
Fire Fruitsare always useful, so it’s easy to run out. If you find yourself running low, you can alwayscome back to this shrine to pick some more up- the small Fire Fruit trees will regrow over time.
Head back to the previous room and take the path ahead now. Eventually, you’ll reach a ladder - once you climb it, you’ll be put intocombat with a Captain Construct I.
