Bonus Orb Locations

Bonus Orbsgrant youadditional timeorfill your Mayhem Meter.Their positions are randomized at the beginning of each match, but they’re chosen from a limited pool. If things are looking grim, check one of these spots if you haven’t yet been there!

Village Strategy

Before you engage the Ganados, take a moment tolook up and to the right. If there’s a Bonus Orb there, make that your first destination, since it will be easiest to reach while there still aren’t many enemies.

Shoot the crows on the bonfireand rooftopsbefore they fly away - they’ll sometimes drop items.

None of the buildings are particularly secure, but the second floor of the two-story house is a good place to make a stand as Leon or Luis.Keep kicking the ladder down from the front window, and you can shoot Ganados as they enter from the stairs or either of the side windows. If they start to overwhelm you,use the Flash Grenade from the bottom floorto stun the Ganados and leave.

The rooftops to either side of the two-story house are thebest sniping positions. They’re not perfect, since you’ll have to keep watching your back, but they’re great for getting a few shots in on bosses like Doctor Salvador before they are close enough to be a threat.

Unlike in the main story, the top of the watchtower will actually hold your character’s weight. you may hide up there andshoot Ganados as they climb the ladder, but this process is slow and will be sure to run out the clock. You can, however, use this area as a temporary reprieve from bosses; if you wait until thetriple-chainsaw battletoward the end, you can lure the three big bads into the watchtower, toss the Heavy Grenade from the chest at the top onto them from above.

Krauser and Hunk are both capable of fighting the horde from the main square. If things get bad, their best bet is toretreat to the building that Ashley helped Leon to enter in the main game. There’s only one exit, so you’ll be able to limit the number of enemies that you have to deal with at a time; just watch the side windows, as molotovs and dynamite can be thrown through them!
