As soon as you get to the village inSun Haven, you’ll realize that almost everything revolves around money. The game brings farming and magic together while you can also mine and fish in this relaxing world as well. There’s a main story but you can mostly progress it at your own pace.

You’ll need a lot of money if you want to afford seeds for your farm, upgrade your tools and buildings, or buy different gifts for the NPCs. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways that allow you to make a ton of money quickly.
Selling Items Regularly
Sun Haven is a game whereyou can get hundreds of different items within a matter of days, so it’s not a surprise that selling these items is one of the best sources of income. To sell an item,you simply have to put it inside the Shipping Portal placed near the bridge on your farm.
Once you place a certain item in there, it’ll be sold overnight and you’ll get the gold the next morning.You can still remove these items from the Portal before you go to bed on the same day. While you can make a significant amount of money by selling items, you should still be selective with what you sell.
There are three Shipping Portals in all three regions in the game. If you want to make an extra portal,you can unlock the ability on the fifth tier of mining upgrades and then create one using Planks, Mana, and Money.
Here are some general rules that you can follow if you want to sell items selectively:
Investing In A Barn
Barn is an important building in Sun Haven as itallows you to own and feed different animals like chickens, cows, and pigs. This building can be bought for 5,000 gold if you head over to the shops inside the Town Hall.It comes equipped with multiple feeding stations, and you can also buy an Auto feeder and Auto collector for quality-of-life upgrades.
Once you have the barn,it’s time to buy some animals from the shop just north of your farm. As soon as you place an animal inside the barn, it’ll give you one item for free.You can claim these items every day from these animals as far as they’re fed. These can be sold for quite a lot of money.
The animals have a chance of giving you double drops when they’re happy,which is signified by the heart beside their name. The red inside the heart increases every time you pet the animals, and you can essentially reach the full heart by constantly petting them for an in-game hour or so.
You’ll also need a ton of Animal Food for the upkeep of these animals, and this item is very expensive at the store. Ideally,you’d want to grow a ton of Wheat and get animal food from it through the Farmer’s table.
Completing Bulletin Board Quests
If you head out through the right side of your farm and go up into the town,you’ll see a Bulletin Board to the left of the General Store. This board has multiple functions:
These quests are a great source for increasing friendship with the character and getting some gold in the process.The NPCs will usually pay more than the merchants for a certain item. Moreover, you’re able to also get some special items like gems or EXP from these quests.
Keep in mind that these quests are time-limited andthe character might not be happy with you if you’re not able to fulfill them after accepting. Ensure that you only accept the quests that you can finish.
Exploring Different Forests
The Sun Haven village is covered with different forests in the west, north, and east direction.These forests are a great source of items like Silk, Earth Crystals, and money bags. Small money bags will give you 160 gold each time you open one, and Silk can also be sold for a decent amount of money.
With an exploration upgrade,you have a 100 percent chance of getting double silk from each tree. This makes foraging a great way to earn money if you’re doing it in these forests. You can alsofind Catnips here sometimes, and these can be given to Kitty for some friendship. You’ll be able to get a ton of fruits from these forests as well.
If you can see a spiderweb on a tree, you don’t have to cut down the tree to get the silk.You can simply hit it with your weapon once and the silk will drop automatically.
A good way to go about exploring these forests is once a week.Essentially, you’re able to go out to the forests to the north, east, and west once a week each. You’ll likely be spending an entire day in a certain forest, so that’s three days of your week for these trips in total.
Looking For Chests
Chests are always a great sight no matter the game you’re playing,and you’ll see quite a lot of them in Sun Haven. There are different kinds of chests you may find in the game:
Unlocked Chests
You can find these chests all around the map, andthe best places to find them are random floors in the mines or forests around the area. You can also find a bunch of half-buried chests on the beach right below your farm, though these respawn randomly once you claim them.
Locked Chests
There are specific locations to find these chests around the world, and they can be opened using keys made out of Copper, Iron, and other minerals. These chests respawn a few days after you open them, and they can give a ton of useful gear.
Special Mine Chests
When you look at the floor map inside the mines, you’ll be able to see a chest every ten floors.These chests can only be claimed once, and they give quite a lot of items.
Some of these chests won’t give you any gold when you open them,but this can be changed with a quick upgrade in the early stages of exploration. This upgrade will give you a certain amount of gold every time you open a chest.
