As has become something of a tradition in thePersonaseries,Persona 4 Goldenallows you to fuse a new, mega-powerful version of your initial Persona. In P4G, that’s Izanagi-no-Okami, and after it emerges to help you during the battle against Izanami, in New Game Plus, you can fuse it and add it to your team.

But to fuse Izanagi-no-Okami, you’ll need to first beat P4G, assemble a dozen ingredient Personas, and grind pretty hard for EXP. For a little help with fusing Izanagi-no-Okami in a NG+ run of Persona 4 Golden, our guide below has you covered.

How To Unlock Izanagi-No-Okami
In order to unlock Izanagi-no-Okami in Persona 4 Golden, you’ll need to havebeaten P4G once already, having seen theTrue Endingyour first time through the game.
For help in doing so, check out our guide togetting each ending in P4G.
This is because you’reintroduced to Izanagi-no-Okami during the final battleagainst Izanami.
Following this, when you begin aNew Game Plus run of the game, you’ll then be able to fuse Izanagi-no-Okami, the only Persona of theWorld Arcana.
When playing a NG+ run of P4G, you’re allowed to fuse Izanagi-no-Okami as soon as you’ve got all the ingredient Personas to do so, but the caveat is thatIzanagi-no-Okami is a Lv. 91 shadow.
SinceNew Game Plus in Persona 4 Golden doesnotcarry your player level into a new cycle, this means you’ll need towait until you’ve trained your way to Lv. 91in your second playthrough before you’re able to fuse Izanagi-no-Okami.

*Nornis theUltimate Personaof the Fortune arcana in P4G, meaning you’ll need to havemaxed your social link with Naotoin order to fuse it.
Since there isno corresponding social link for the World arcana, Izanagi-no-Okamigains no additional experience upon fusionlike the rest of your fused Personas.
Izanagi-no-Okami cannot be registered to your Compendium upon fusion.
If you get rid of it for any reason, you’ll need to perform the entire fusion a second time.
Recipes For Personas Needed To Fuse Izanagi-No-Okami
Like the rest of your Personas, any of the ingredient Personas that have already been logged can simply withwithdrawn from the Compendiumfor cash like normal.
Fusing Izanagi-no-Okami in P4G is difficult and expensive enough already without needing to experiment to see what works, so we’ve assembled a list of thecheapest fusions for each ingredient Personato include in this guide as well.

Upon fusing Izanagi-no-Okami for the first time in your NG+ run, you’ll unlock"The Power of Truth"trophy.
As Izanagi-no-Okami is exclusive to New Game Plus, this is one of only twoachievements or trophiesthatcannot be earned during your first playthrough of P4G.

For all the work required to unlock Izanagi-no-Okami in Persona 4 Golden, it’s a good thing it pays off in spades.
However, it’s important to note thatIzanagi-no-Okami’s skills list is set. It will not learn moves from its ingredient Personas upon fusion.

You’ll notice thatMyriad Truthsis missing from Izanagi-no-Okami’s affinity table above.
This is because this move isexclusive to the Izanagi battle, and thereforecannot be performed in a normal fight. As such, it’s not a move recognized in Izanagi-no-Okami’s regular skills list upon fusion in NG+.
