Though it’s true that the Switch version lacks achievements, PlayStation players can now collect these little bits of digital recognition for a job well done right alongside folks on Steam, Android, and iOS. Today, we’re taking a look at what is quite possibly the most popular Pixel Remaster entry - Final Fantasy 6 - and showing you what it takes to truly master a masterpiece.

How Many Trophies Are There In Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster?

There are37 trophiesin Final Fantasy 6 Remaster, although we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that all six Pixel Remaster games have their own set of between 24 on the low end (FF1) and 39 on the high end (FF5). Players who pick up the full package have a ton of achievement-hunting ahead of them - we’re speaking from personal experience!

Bronze

You acquire this as part of the main story.

This is technically missable despite being related to the main story, as you need to have reunited withfive alliesfor it, and you onlyneedtwo before taking on the final dungeon.

‘Looking for Friends, Part 3’

This is technically missable despite being related to the main story, as you need to have reunited withten alliesfor it, and you onlyneedtwo before taking on the final dungeon.

‘Breath of New Life’

Silver

Obtain every Esper.

This requires you to choose to receive Ragnarok as Magicite rather than as a sword when you head to Narshe for it in the World of Ruin.

Obtain all of Sabin’s Blitzes.

You don’t need to reach Level 70 with Sabin for his last one if you take him to Duncan’s Cabin in the World of Ruin.

Landed on ‘Joker’s Death’ while using Setzer’s Slot command.

There are conflicting reports - some have claimed this trophy is acquired by landing on every slot combination. We’ll update when we know for sure.

Obtain 20 of Strago’s Lore spells.

Thankfully, this means you don’t need to learneveryLore spell for it.

‘Master of the Wild’

See above, but for Rage. Now that would be completionist!

Gold

Complete the bestiary.

Probably the hardest trophy, requiring a great deal of perseverance to ensure enemies spawn in every area of the game. Using a guide is highly recommended.

Obtain 500,000 gil.

In the PlayStation version, you can ramp up your gil earnings by 2x or even 4x via boosters if you’d like to expedite the process.

Open every treasure chest.

Remember you can access maps now that let you know how many treasure chests and hidden items are around in every area.

Travel to every map location.

Be sure to consult the map in the World of Balance for any still greyed-out dots before advancing to the Floating Continent.
