Process of Eliminationhas you second-guessing every character’s motivations and actions. As the game progresses, the cast shrinks gradually as the various nefarious machinations of the villains take hold and end their lives. As a mystery game, it’s up to you, dear player, to work out what happened in these grisly cases.

The third chapter is no exception, as even though Wato, our Incompetent Detective protagonist, is mastering his power of Denouement, he is slow to grasp that he cannot preventeverytragedy around him. Read on to learn how to take on this chapter with ease.
Pre-Investigation
As the cast explores the secret passage underneath Gormenghast, you’ll be asked a pointed question by Renegade Detective, who has found an elevator key. The correct answer to this question is “… connects to the research facility.”
Shortly after, you’re presented with the next case of the game. When prompted to recall what your first step should be, you should choose “Organize the crime’s key aspects.” Of course, you then have to present to your comrades what these key aspects actually are. Like before,there are three:
After answering these questions, the case begins in earnest!
You will begin the investigation with theCards Near the Bodypiece of evidence.
Mystery Points
Throughout this entire Investigation,Renegade Detective will be in pursuit of Incompetent Detective. You’ll need to make sure that, no matter what happens, you do not begin an Investigation while one of your detectives is within Renegade’s dark cube of influence.
All that’s left to do is tosolve the final Mystery Point. All the remaining characters should be going for it, so you should have no chance of losing.
Post-Investigation Clarification
As always, the Investigation is followed up with some questioning to find out what truly happened. Don’t answer the questions incorrectly, or the group’strustin you will falter.
