Seaside Kingdom is a large area inSuper Mario Odyssey, covered in water with multiple islands to explore. You can go throughout the land while enjoy the music and setting, though covering all the ground can quickly become tedious. Not only do you need to travel far, but you must check above and below the water to find everything.

Finding all the purple coins can seem challenging as you search and try to go through every nook and cranny on the planet. Instead of searching around randomly and hoping for the best, you can use a guide to help you track down the last few coins.
On Land Purple Coin Locations
You can start by searching for all the coins on the land. You’ll get to see their in-game locations, where you can find them on the map, and a quick description of how to reach them.

Gosouthwest of the Odysseyand jump up the platform to get the purple coins.
Travelsouthwest of the parrot, and you’ll find them in some water beside a wall.
Capture awater-spraying squid, and head to the southwest corner of the map. You’ll find some in the air, above blocks, so use the squid to reach them.
Traveleast of the Odysseyuntil you reach the next segment of land. Keep looking right, and you’ll find them in the wall.
Go to theRolling Canyon checkpoint. Head east on the platform and climb it to find the coins.
Drop off the ledge north of the previous coins.Follow the wall, and you’ll find the coins on some rocks.
Start at the last coins and follow the cliff east. Get on the land and go on top of theplatforms to the west. If you keep following them, you’ll find the coins in the wall.
Return to theRolling Canyon checkpoint. Travel east and go up the hill with the rolling spike balls.
Gopast the Female Goomba, and climb the platform. If you look to the left, you’ll find coins in some water.
Go to theHot Spring Island checkpoint. Capture a water-shooting squid and get rid of the lava in the area. You’ll find it in a small pond of water.
Travel southeast of the previous coins, to the southeast portion of the island. You’ll find themnext to an umbrella.
Go to theOcean West Trench checkpoint. Travel to the land west, and you’ll see a sequence of spinning spike balls. The coins will be above them.
Travel to theLighthouse checkpoint. Jump down near the spinning spike balls, and you’ll find an opening in the lighthouse that leads to the coins.

Underwater Purple Coin Locations
Since the planet is covered in water, you must check for some underwater. To make it easier, you should capture a Cheep Cheep to not worry about air.
Gowest of the parrot, and you’ll find the coins in the water, underneath the shop owner.
Head north of the previous coins before you reach the small island. You’ll find the coins in adivot in the wallto your right.
Travelnortheast of the last set of coins. Look to your right, and you’ll find more coins in a separate divot.
Start at theLighthouse checkpoint. Hop down toward the southeast portion of the island, and go into the water. You’ll find a rock enclosure with the coins there.
Start at theRolling Canyon checkpoint. Head north until you enter the water. Then, you’ll follow the wall to the east and stay in the water.
You’ll reach an area withcrystal rock platformsin the water, so go toward the wall in that area and find them on the sea floor.
Return to theRolling Canyon checkpoint, and travel west from it.
You’ll go slightly north, and after you get past some moving seaweed, you’ll find arock at the bottomof the water with the coins on it.
Start at theGlass Palace checkpoint. You’ll spawn next to a pool of water surrounded by the metal structure you’re standing on.
Dive into the waterand see the coins on a stone platform.
Return to the previous checkpoint and travel north. You’ll gopast a treasure chestand enter the water to the north. You’ll notice shining platforms on the ground with one that has air bubbles shooting up.
Go to where theair bubbles come out, and you’ll find the coins around it.
Start at the last coins and face north. You’ll look forward and findthree holes in the wall. Go through the left one, and you’ll collect the three coins.
Go to theOcean Trench West checkpoint. Stay in the water, but travel southeast to the island sequence. Go to the small one in the middle.
You’ll find an area withmultiple seaweed creatureshanging from the ceiling. You’ll come across the coins in a hole in the area.
Travel to theLighthouse checkpoint. Jump off the lighthouse to the west side and dive into the water. You’ll come across a divot in the cliff with three coins next to some seaweed.
Start at theOcean Trench West checkpoint. You’ll travel east and find an area to dive into some stone structures below.
Dive near the start of the area, but not to the bottom. You’ll come across the coins on one of the platforms on thewest sideof this area.
Go to theGlass Palace checkpoint. Dive into the water east of you, and you’ll see a few stone pillars. It’s between the two of them, standing in a line.
Return to theRolling Canyon checkpoint. Head north and dive into the water. You’ll see a divot in the wall with the coins inside.
You’ll know you’re in the correct area if you seethree Cheep Cheepsswimming together in a line.
Go north of the previous coins. You’ll go past a set of small islands and go to the two to the west. You’ll find them on some rocksnear the walking seaweed creatures.
Start at theHot Springs Island checkpoint. Head south toward the umbrella and enter the water. You’ll come across a platform with three coins on it.
Return to theHot Springs Island checkpoint. Go into the water south of the flag, and you’ll find the coins in a divot.
You’ll go to the Glass Palace checkpoint and hop into the sea to the west. You’ll find four pipes on the ground that lead to the 8-bit segments, so enter thenortheast pipe.
Climb on the blocks to the right andhit the Koopa to the right. It’ll bounce down and destroy the block below. Go through that hole in the wall and get on the moving platform. Break the blocks on the area’s right side, then jump to the left. You can then jump up and reach the purple coins above.
Return to theHot Spring Island checkpoint. You’ll go northeast of the island and face it again. You’ll enter a hole in the island, swim up, and find the coins left of you.

Bonus Area Purple Coin Locations
You also have coins in bonus areas, so you’ll want to know where you’re able to find the areas and how to get the coins.
Go to theOcean Trench West checkpoint. Capture a Cheep Cheep, and go to the island to the west. Go on the land, hop into the water tube, and dive.
Capture another Cheep Cheep once you enter and go through the cave. You’ll go past three Cheep Cheeps andmultiple eels.
You’ll reach a rock with an upper and lower opening, sogo through the lower portionto get the coins.
Continue from the previous coins. Navigate past the eels and gopast the wooden boxes. Immediately turn around and find the coins directly above the boxes.
