Sentinel Ships have started falling from the sky as of the Interceptor update inNo Man’s Sky. While you’d think this would make the universe safer for intrepid explorers, it’s actually made it even more dangerous for Travelers and Sentinels alike! Corruption has taken over certain planets, warping Sentinel drones into twisted abominations and causing Sentinel Interceptors to crash.

The Sentinel’s loss is your gain! You can salvage those crashed Sentinel Interceptors and make them your own. Sentinel Interceptors offer increased firepower, unique technologies, and more value when salvaged than other crashed ships. You’re going to want to grab as many of these crashed Interceptors as you can, so here’s how you do it.

How To Find A Crashed Sentinel Ship

There arethree ways to find a crashed Sentinel Interceptor. you may kill a Sentinel Dreadnought and use a Dreadnought AI Fragment, you can locate a Harmonic Camp and use its terminal, or you can just get the coordinates for crash sites from other Travelers.

Dreadnought AI Fragment

Getting a Dreadnought AI Fragment is simple:all you gotta do is destroy a Sentinel Dreadnought. The Sentinel Freighters that warp in after reaching the maximum wanted level are now destructible, although it takes an awful lot of firepower to take one out.

The surest and easiest way to get a Sentinel Dreadnought to warp in is topick a fight with some Sentinels on a planet, hop into your ship, and thenkeep fighting the Sentinel Interceptors that warp in.

Destroy each wave of Sentinel Interceptorsuntil reaching the fifth wanted level, at which point the Sentinel Dreadnought will spawn.

This is going to be a tough fight! The Dreadnought will come with its own wing of Interceptors and will periodically launch more.

Be sure tohavea fully-upgraded S-class shipwithpowerful shields and weapons, and maybe evena full squadron of alliesto help out.

Destroying the Dreadnoughtwill always reward you with a Dreadnought AI Fragment.Use the AI Fragment on a Corrupted Planet, and it will direct you to the nearest crashed Sentinel Interceptor.

Alternatively, you canuse the Dreadnought AI Fragmentin a system without a Corrupted Planet, andit will direct you to the nearest system with a Corrupted Planetand the approximate location of a crashed Sentinel Interceptor.

Harmonic Camp

Every Corrupted Planethas several Harmonic Camps scattered across its surface. These camps offer resources, lore, and the new Sentinel Multi-Tool. They can also provide you withthe exact location of a crashed Sentinel Interceptor.

First, you’ll need to find the Harmonic Camp, which can be done by either flying around until you spot one or bydestroying Corrupted Sentinels until one drops an Echo Locator. Use the Echo Locator, and it will direct you to the nearest Harmonic Camp.

Next, locate the camp’s terminal and unlock it. To unlock the terminal, you’ll need to solve a simple puzzle. Hit “Scan memory registers” for a hint at the three glyphs you’ll need to unlock the puzzle.

Each hint is a simple equationthat providesa one or two-digit number between one and 16. Each of those numbers corresponds with a glyph.

When you go back to “Input override glyphs,“input the glyphs from left to right that correspond with each number from the clue.

Once you’ve unlocked the terminal, you can both unseal the Sentinel Multitool that’s nearby and claim it for your own, andask it for the location of a nearby crashed Sentinel Interceptor. It’ll be marked on your HUD.

Get Coordinates Somewhere Else

Crashed Sentinel Ships areessentially the same as any other crashed ship in No Man’s Sky. Once you have the system, planet, and coordinates of the crashed ship, you can just fly straight to itwithout having to muck about with Dreadnought AI Fragments or Harmonic Camps.

People post coordinates for crashed ships on theNo Man’s Sky Coordinate Exchange subredditall the time, so head there for great intel on where to find a crashed Sentinel Interceptor.

Dissonance Resonators are guardedby Corrupted Sentinel Drones and Quadrupeds, so expect a fight.
