Crafting The Air Drop
Exploration is one of the biggest focuses in Atelier Ryza 3. You will constantly gather Resources and Materials to return to Ryza’s Atelier and begin creating cool and exciting things with herAlchemythat will give you the upper hand in combat and when roaming each region in the game. TheAir Dropis one of the most crucial Exploration Survival Tools in Atelier Ryza 3. This Tool enables you todive underwater and explore the ocean’s depth,allowing you to find rare and valuable Resources and Materials. Furthermore, this Survival Tool will beavailable to you right from the jump,almost begging you to Synthesize it as soon as possible and use it to explore the Kark Isles' gorgeous blue waters fully.
Fortunately for you, youcan Synthesize the Air Drop pretty early in the gameand will find all theMaterialsnecessary to make it when Ryza and her friendshead back to the Kark Isles.The Recipe for the Air Drop is in the table below!
How To Explore Underwater
Once you have the required Materials and have Synthesized theAir Drop,you will finally be able to dive underneath Deep Waters. But, before you can do this, you mustfirst equip it,which can be done by opening theMenuwhilestill inside your Atelierand navigating to theItemstab. Next,select one of the blank tilesand thenchoose the Air Dropto equip it to that slot.
From here, you will be able todive underneath the waterwhere it is deep enough, with theKark Islesbeing the only location with deep enough waters for diving in the early portions of the game. To do this, begin swimming in the water until you reach a deep enough area, thenpress the Triangle Button(PlayStation) tosubmerge yourself under the water.You cankeep going deeper by pressing and holding the Triangle Button, or you can ascend by pressing the Circle Button.
There will bemany things to gather underneath the water,and you should take full advantage of your new abilities to do just that. TheKark Isles alone will give you access to Materials and Resources you have not yet collected by exploring the bottoms of the oceans. You may evenstumble into secret areas or rare and high-quality Materials.While you cannot submerge yourself under every body of water in the game, there are enough times you’re able to do it that will make snagging it early one of the best decisions you can make when first starting out.
