This segment is played from Ciri’s perspective, letting you use her unique powers of teleportation instead of Geralt’s more mundane witcher techniques. Ciri’s arsenal has also been expanded, with the tools she needs to defeat human opponents. While “Ciri’s Story: Visiting Junior” is a short quest, it can be surprisingly difficult, especially at greater difficulties.

How To Enter The Building

This flashback suddenly starts at the end ofGet Junior, after Geralt gives the man a well-deserved beating. Junior tells Geralt about how he had met Ciri and why she had come to beat him. It shifts to a cutscene between Ciri and Dandelion, before the quest itself begins.

Once it ends, you will have toclimb up to the roof, starting with a ladder. This shouldn’t be too challenging for anyone who reached this part of the game.

If you are struggling to get up the white-marked wall, jump against itto get Ciri to climb up.

Travel across the roof andreach the locked windowat the marked balcony. Interacting with it will start a cutscene and begin the quest’s next, significantly more exciting, part.

Fighting Through Junior’s Hideout

As soon as the cutscene ends, you will be fighting Junior. He is not a particularly difficult adversary and can be defeated without fancy tactics.Just block, hit, and dodgeas you would with any other enemy.

Once he is defeated, Ciri and Dudu talk about their escape. Once the cutscene is over, you will need tofight through three floors of foesto reach the exit and end of the quest.

This is the first time you get to use Ciri’sBlink ability.By holding down the key, you willcharge an attackthat has Ciriteleport behind and hit up to five enemies.

It draws on a meterjust under the minimap. This metercharges throughout a fightanddepletes when out of combat.

You will need todefeat three ordinary swordsmenimmediately after the cutscene. This is a good opportunity toget familiar with Blink.Head out the door and down the stairs once they have been slain.

The next floor is much more challenging, with many more enemies and onewith a shield. You will need tobe mindful of your surroundingsand fight carefully to survive this room.

Theenemy with a shield is particularly annoying.Ciri lacks many of the tools Geralt has for dealing with such an opponent.Use Blinkto get around the shield and hurt him.

The final floor has the same variety of enemies. Once you defeat them, exit the buildingand bring the flashback to an end.
