Busting ghosts inLuigi’s Mansion 3is a strenuous affair. If you’re ready to take down DJ Phantasmagloria, then you’ve fought the laborious uphill battle already by knocking out 14 other ghost bosses. That’s right, Phantasmagloria is the 15th boss fight in Luigi’s Mansion 3, and she’s not going down without a few scratches, scribbles, and a killer downbeat — or beat down rather.

As expected, DJ Phantasmagloria can be found in the Dance Hall on the 14th floor. She’ll corral several dancers to aid her in the confrontation with poor Luigi, who still seems scared out of his gourd even after battling countless ghosts thus far.
Phase 1: A Game Of Keep Away
There aretwo phasesto this fight. To start, she employs her hoodie-clad goobs, which perform a dance number. One of them has the15th floor buttonunder its hood. It’s up to you to find out which one and pinpoint it with aburst jump (ZL + ZR). Here are a few notes to help you succeed in this process.
You will have tolocate the correct goob twice. After you use the burst mechanic to detect the first goob with the button, they will performa spinning breakdance move setthat is fast and can cause Luigi damage if you are not quick enough to move out of the way.
This sequence ends when you find the second goob, and you suck the specter up into your vacuum. A cinematic scene will play that leads into the second phase of this boss battle.
Phase 2: Confront DJ Phantasmagloria
Once DJ Phantasmagloria enters the dance floor arena, there arethree primary attacksshe’ll employ:
When she throws records, it’s important to just keep running to avoid being hit. Keep your distance when she performs the spin attack as there is no way to interrupt it.
To attack her, you simply need to get close and use theburst jump maneuver (ZL+ZR)to knock the red wig off of her head. This will make her vulnerable to theStrobulb flash. Use this and vaccuum up this pesky ghost. You may need three or four tries to finish her off.
