But her dungeon is far from straightforward, with more enemies, loot, and set pathways than anywhere else in the game. For help with your big, last push in P4G to get through Yomotsu Hirasaka, you’ve come to the right place.
As Yomotsu Hirasaka is the final dungeon of the game, this guide will contain major spoilers for the ending of Persona 4 Golden.

How To Unlock Yomotsu Hirasaka
You’re able to enter Yomotsu Hirasaka onthe day you’d otherwise be leaving Inaba. This will occur on3/20, and you canonly access the dungeon on this day.
We’ve got a separate article with more info oneach of the endings of the game, but you’ll need tobe on the path to theTrue or Normal endingsto be given the chance toaccess Yomotsu Hirasaka.

If you’veopted for a different ending, you’ll be locked out of this section of the game.
After speaking with all your maxed social links, you’vegot the option tohead hometo finish packing, which willsegue you to the normal ending and skip Yomotsu Hirasakaentirely if you agree to go.

If you’re trying to tackle the dungeon, though, decline going home. Head over to Junes, where the team will meet you. Agreeing that there’s still something will see you break from the group tofind Nanako and Ryotaro Dojima.
They can be located at theriverbanksection of theSamegawa Flood Plain.
When speaking to them, choose the following responses:
After this, go tothe Velvet Roomfor a conversation with the inhabitants there. Your responses don’t matter in this conversation – you’ll receive theOrb of Sighteither way.
With all of this in motion, your final step to unlocking Yomotsu Hirasaka is toreturn to the Moel Gas Station, where you need tospeak to the gas station attendantyou met on your first day in Inaba.

When prompted, choose the following answers:
The assistant will try to refuse to talk to you past this, butcontinue trying to talk to the assistant.
However, continue talking to them andsay the following:
When the conversation ends, you haveyour final section of free control over Yu.
You can use this time to grab Personas from the Velvet Room, sell or trade items, or do any other final preparations before heading into Yomotsu Hirasaka to tackle the final dungeon

Once you enter the final dungeon, youarenot allowed to go back to the real world againbefore the game is over following the completion of Yomotsu Hirasaka.
Recommended Level
Actual level recommendations for the end-most part of the game can be difficult, as they rely on what you’ve done so far throughout the entirety of the game.
With this being the final dungeon, you’ll likely besomeplace in the 60-70 rangefor your level, though every player will be different.

The final boss of the game is at the end of this dungeon, andIzanami isLv. 90when you battle her. However, theenemieswithin Yomotsu Hirasaka arenot this strong, with thelowest being Lv. 76.
By this point in the game, the higher your level, the faster you’ll get through the dungeon.

Some players prefer the challenge of staying at a somewhat lower level, while others prefer to be over-leveled to make the impending blow-out battle with Izanami a cakewalk.
You’ll be safe if you reach around Lv. 80 before the final boss fight. She’s tough, but a careful selection of moves and buffs makes the fight less difficult regardless of level.

Thankfully, thehigh levels of the shadowshere means thatthe dungeon itself is a decent place to grind.
With so many enemy types and such a range of levels, you’ll definitely be leveling up at least a few times before you’ve finished the dungeon, regardless of the level at which you entered.

A good rule of thumb for Persona games is, if you’re struggling with the mini-bossesthroughout the dungeon, you’re probablynot ready for the boss.
Try togauge your comfort level in battlebefore engaging Izanami, and make the leveling decision that’s right for your style of play.
