There is a treasure hunt off the coast of Spikeroog, one of the smallest islands inThe Witcher 3.Like other treasure hunts, you will need to use the clues provided by the quest to locate a chest of loot somewhere nearby. In this instance, you will have to search the sea around the island for your reward.

While simple on the surface, this task can be quite challenging when you submerge yourself in it. The chest in question can be hard to spot, even with Witcher Senses. We’ve covered how to find the chest, and the note starting the quest, below.
Starting Treasure Hunt: Not Only Eagles Dare
The note starting this treasure hunt is on a rocky outcropto the south of Svorlag,Spikeroog’s larger settlement. It is easiest to reach the site bytaking a boat over.Once you are close enough, you will see aHidden Treasure marker,letting you know where to search.
The rocky outcrop isclose to a location you visit inPossession,a quest where Geralt helps Cerys an Craite with a monster problem. You may encounter this quest then.

The marker leads you toa corpse on the outcrop, with thenote and key needed for the quest.
Be prepared to fightmucknixers and drowners.The outcrop is home to several sea-based necrophages that will not hesitate to attack Geralt.
Finding The Submerged Treasure
This part of the quest can be deceptively difficult. Ordinarily, you would be able to quickly find your reward byusing Witcher Senseswithin the search area. In this treasure hunt, you may not be able to find it immediately.
Search thewestern sideof the search area. The chest has settled on the slope and should be visible to your Witcher Senses. Like other treasure hunts, just reach the chest and open it with the key you found earlier.
The quest will end here. ensure to empty the chest out, collecting your reward in the process.
