With the next step in our adventure, we will have the chance to meet a whole new cast of characters, including Michael’s protege, and a thong-clad faded rockstar. We’ll also grab a few new goodies along the way, and, of course, stomp waves of zombies.
O Michael, Where Art Thou?
Once you arrive back at Emma’s mansion, you will be tasked with bringing Michael back. So, follow the quest marker out through to the military checkpoint. Take out the nearby zombified soldiers and pass through the gate into Beverly Hills.Michael’s house is pretty much a straight shot from the entrance to Beverly Hills.Enter his house through the open window. Unfortunately, Michael is long gone. So, you’re going to need to search his house for clues.
If you take a left at the Beverly Hills entrance, you will find a locked gate. You can hop on top of the nearby van, onto the canopy, and over this gate. On ther other side, there is a weapon crate which istotallyworth grabbing.

Investigate the corpse on the ground. Check the kitchen table. Then, look at the bloody smear on the wall. Finally, check the door next to the blood smear. You will now be on the search for Michael’s house keys. Move through the French doors and into the back. Check the note on the corkboard. You will find the keys in the trash bin under the corkboard.
Now, enter the locked bedroom. Inspect the corpse, then check out the map on the bed, and the telephone on the table, and finally grab Jessie Kwon’s address out of the Rolodex on the table, this will give you her address. Thankfully, her house isn’t far away. Head out of Michael’s house the way you entered. Once you hit the street take a left and follow it to the Kwon house. On your way there you may encounter a few new zombie types. You will now start to encounter Firefighter zombies, and Burning zombies. Both are immune to fire damage. The Burning zombies need to be dealt with cautiously, as getting too close will to taking damage.Spears are great for dealing with them.

You will find a safe in Michael’s place. The key to this safe is found on one of his former proteges. You will find her stumbling outside Michael’s house. If you don’t find her, come back later when you return to Beverly Hills. You will know when you have the right Zombie as they are literally called “MIchael’s Protege”.
Once there, go to the front door. You’ll now get to talk to Rikky. He’ll have you clear out the zombies on the property, and repair the two gates. All you need to do is slot those circuit breakers in. There are plenty around the property. Two are in the garage.Speaking of the garage, once it opens up, you’ll deal with a whole gang of zombies, including a Crusher.Once you clear them out, slot the Circuit Breaker into the Breaker box beside the front gate, and then take the other one to the other end of the property to close the side gate.

Unfortunately, the area in front of the side gate is on fire. Just a little to the left of it is the sprinkler system valve. Use it to extinguish the fire, then slot the circuit breaker into the breaker box.Once you have both entrances sealed, kill all the remaining zombies, and then talk to Rikky again. He will let you into the house, and you will read a note that Jessie left on the fridge. This will officially complete the O Michael, Where Art Thou quest.
While in the Kwon’s backyard, you may notice that there is a locked cooler in the pool. If you grab the note on top of it, you will start the Clean And Snatch quest.you’re able to follow this guide to complete it.

Kwon With The Wind
We now have to track Jessie down. She is hanging out with her buddies in the mansion that is under construction (on the south end of the map). Unsurprisingly, once you get to this mansion, you are going to find that it is overrun with zombies. It seems like Jessie’s construction buddies didn’t make it. Before you fight your want into the mansion, you will want to scope out the outside. There is one of those disaster relief chests sitting on some scaffolding, there are also a ton of materials all around. So scoop that stuff up.Once you are done, head into the mansion and work up to the top floor (while engaging in a little looting, of course). Most of the zombies in here are pretty normal, but there is a Crusher hanging out in one of the rooms as well.
While here, you will likely encounter themansion under construction’s locked safe.Don’t worry about opening this safe now, the key won’t appear until near the end of the game.

As you work through the mansion, you are going to find a number of booby traps. This is sort of your introduction to them. These traps consist of a shotgun propped up and pointing in your direction, as well as a tripwire to set them off. So,you are going to need to either disarm shotgun, hop over the wire, or toss something into the tripwire while being off to the side.Your approach will likely change depending on the given setup. As long as you take things slowly, these traps won’t be much of an issue.
Disarming the trap will reward you with shotgun ammunition, but don’t allow that to influence your approach. Once you acquire your first shotgun ammunition will not be hard to come by.

If you hop over the tripwire, you can then lure zombies into these traps to catch a bullet. It isn’t necessary, but it sure is fun!
After you work your way up to the top floor, you will eventually find Jessie tucked away in the back room. You just need to clear out the zombies before she will let you in. You will have to kill a new type of zombie: the shocking type. They aren’t too scary, just don’t be near them when the warning sign appears above their heads. They will erupt into an explosion of electricity. Jessie will tell you that Michael has gone to Monarch Studios. So, it is time to bid the Hills ado.ensure your weapons are in good shape before you leave, as you are going to be in for a fight! There is a workbench in the same room as Jessie, so make use of it.

Head toward the south end of the map, take out the zombies guarding it, and grab the keycard from them. This will allow you to move on to the next obstacle, which is a deadly run against a huge horde of zombies. However, just before you face the undead hordes, you will be given a new curveball to fool around with: the pipe bomb.It is definitely worth equipping this alongside your shuriken.
There are literally dozens of zombies to work through here. But, there is good news! You only need to work through a set number, once you clear them all out zombies willnotrespawn!Make sure you have a weapon that will reach from a distance, as you are going to be swarmed by a group of Burning Zombies.

Make sure to take advantage of the explosive truck stuck in the annex. This is a great way to clear out a ton of zombies. It is also a golden opportunity for you to try out that pipe bomb. Once you try to exit the annex, you will be met by another group of zombies. One of them will be a Grenadier. So, poke their vest, get some distance, and watch the fireworks. Once you clear these ghouls out, you will be free to enter the area.
Upon stepping foot in Monarch Studios, the Kwon With The Wind quest will conclude. You’ll bank a cool 2000 experience points as a reward and, most likely, gain another level. You’ll also start the Michael Anders And The Holy Grail quest, but you’ll have to check out our next guide for more information on that one.
