The Gorge’s Secretis one such Rumor (a.k.a. side quest) Cal can embark upon during his time on Koboh. While it’s not consequential to the overall story, but there arerewardsthat will most certainly make it worth your while.
How To Activate The Side Quest
To keep spoilers at a minimum, you will need to have progressed enough through the main storylinethat you now have the ability toglide on Relters and can use Confusion: Major Fauna. You’re going to need the help of the wildlife in order to make this trek. At this point,a conversation will become available to you near Pyloon’s Saloonthat will activate the Rumor.
The particular fellow you need to speak with is actually not inside the Cantina. He’s out back standing next to a speeder. He is a Nikto just loitering and waiting for a wandering Jedi to casually walk up to him and strike up a conversation. Once you do,he’ll tell you about a hazardous path through the Gorgethat will enable you to see the true majesty of Koboh. The rumor/side quest should then be activated for you to track on your map.

Beginning Your Trek Through The Gorge
Do you remember thatgiant dinosaur creatureyou saw on your way into the valley on Koboh at the start of the game? That’s where you need to be.
you may fast travel to the Southern Reach Meditationpoint which is the closest to where you need to be for this quest. But you’ll need theForce Slam ability, which you don’t acquire until later in the story, to pull down a metal panel to run across and land on a ledge beneath the Trontoshell.

However, if you haven’t progressed far enough in the story to have the Force Slam ability, there’s another routeyou can take.Fast travel to the Derelict Dam Meditation Point, which is a little further away, andhop across the tar pitlike you had done before to find yourself onthe ledge beneath the Trontoshell beast.
Thenuse Confusion: Major Faunato have the beast lower his head. You’ll see that there arevines on one of his tusks that you can jump onto. Once he raises his head again, you canjump to a new platformthat was originally out of reach.

Finding Your Way Through The Ravine
When you proceed through the rocky path now presented to you, you’ll find thatyou’re in the Winding Ravine. You’ll approach a fork in the road. On the left, you canengage in a few environmental puzzlesto access some goodies. Theright is the path you need to taketo complete this Rumor.
You will have to wall runas you follow the path, and you will then find yourself outside withpillars of rock jutting out of the ground.

Instead of heading outside, you can press forward and wall run again around the ravine. This will take you to a dead-end, but it’s a ledge with aPriorite shard. So, it’s worth checking out if you’re collecting Priorite shards to buy that mohawk you’ve been eyeballing at Doma’s.
The only way forward is to domore wall running between the pillarsand thenForce-snag a rope at the endto swing to another mountainous passageway.

As you walk into a clearing, you’ll have tobattle a Gorocco. Be sure to makeuse of the boulders lying aroundin the fight before the beast does. Once you kill the Gorocco, continue on up the path where the creature emerged from.
To save you some time, you may be tempted to scan every inch of the caved-in alcove with scattered materials and lights, but there really isn’t anything in thereother than more boulders you could use during the Gorocco fight. Ignore it and move on.

You’ll reacha ledge with a Relter. Jump on and glide across to the ledge on the far side of the ravine.
Here you’ll finda rope you can cut for a shortcutand achest with the big prizeof this side quest, that will ultimately bring it to completion. The treasure is thecomplete set for the Hunter lightsaber hilt. It’s a pretty gnarly design, so find a workbench and try it on for size.

There areother plateaus you can jump to on the other sideof the ravine from where the chest is. There are a few hostile critters over there, but you can also acquire ahandful of seeds for the gardenif youlook for green firefliesthat mark the spots.
