Where To Find Misko’s EX Journal 2

Misko has stolen notorious outfits collected by the royal family of Hyrule. To find clues to continue, you have to first find Misko’s EX Journal, which is rumored to be somewhere inthe Deya Village Ruins.

The Deya Village Ruins arein the water just by Deya Lake. you’re able to get there quickly byfast traveling to the Bosh Kala Shrineor the Dueling Peaks Tower. The journal can be foundon a piece of wood inside a destroyed homein the southeastern area of the ruins.

There is what appears to be a large rock in the central area of the ruins; this is actually aStone Talus, so you must be careful if you walk too close to it as it may trigger it to attack.

The journal will provide key information that will help you findthe three pieces of armor that compose the complete Phantom Ganon set.

Phantom Ganon Set Locations

To complete the"EX Treasure: Dark Armor"side quest, you mustfind allthree parts of the Phantom Ganon set.Two of them are underwater, and one is in the ground, and you mustuse the Magnesis rune to get all three parts of the set.

Phantom Ganon Skull

According to the journal entry, the Phantom Ganon Skull can be foundat the highest of three waterfalls north of Lake Floria, with Faron Tower and Shoda Sah Shrine being the closest fast-travel locations. This note talks aboutthe waterfall that flows down from Corta Lake to Floria River.

There are three waterfalls there, and the chest isunderneath the waterfall closest to the top. Activate the Magnesis runeto be able to see the chest below the waterand pull it up and move it onto land.

Phantom Ganon Armor

The next piece of Ganon’s clothing can be foundat the bridge between small waterfalls over the Floria River, with Faron Tower being the closest fast-travel location.

After retrieving the first piece of armor, you will see that the Floria River flows west.Follow the river until you’ve reached the bridge by the Sarjon Woods- this bridge leads from the Sarjon Woods to the Zonai Ruins.

Activate Magnesis to find the chest in the water underneath the bridge. Then, either use Cryonis to make an ice platform to reach it or move it onto the nearby rocks.

Phantom Ganon Greaves

As Misko’s journal indicates, the final part of Ganon’s set isat the broken stone bird of Ebara Forest, with Qukah Nata Shrine, Shai Utoh Shrine, and Faron Tower being the closest fast-travel locations. Ganon’s greaves are actually quiteclose to where you will find the Phantom Ganon Skull headgear.

Ebara Forest is just by Lake Floria; you cantake the Floria Bridge to reach it. In the western area of the forest, where you’ll be able to overlook the waterfalls, you will find three bird statues made of stone. One of the statues has a broken head, andright behind it is where you’ll find the last treasure chest.

Once again, you mustactivate Magnesis to pull the chest out of the ground. As soon as you have retrieved the three treasure chests, the side quest will appear on the screen as complete.

You can now keep searching for the otherexclusive clothing articles mentioned in Misko’s EX Journal 2.

Phantom Ganon Set Stats

It does take a bit of work to collect the three parts of this armor, so is it worth it besides now looking like Ganon himself?

Each piece of the Phantom Ganon set will increase yourstealth, which can be great to sneak up on enemies. On top of that, once you’ve got every part of the set, you can equip all garment parts to receive a bonus;wearing the full set will cause Link to become disguised against certain enemies and give him a Bone Atk. Up status increase.

When equipped with the complete Phantom Ganon set, in Link’s inventory, it will say “disguised”, but it doesn’t clarify thatit only disguises Link against skeletal enemies, this only includes Stalkoblins, Stalmoblins, and Stalizalfos. It is good to have this in mind before approaching any other enemies, thinking that they won’t attack Link on sight.

The Bone Atk. Up stat changeincreases the amount of damage that Link will inflict when using bone-based weaponssuch as Dragonbone Moblin Club, the Dragonbone Boko Bow, and the Dragonbone Boko Spear.

Unfortunately, each piece of the armor only provides four protection, which means when wearing the full set, Link will only havea total of 12 protection. There is also no other way to improve the armor sinceit cannot be enhanced at Great Fairy Fountains.

If you’re still very early on in the game or in a specific situation surrounded by Stal enemies, the Phantom Ganon set might be useful. Otherwise, there is much stronger armor in the game that will quickly make this set obsoletein terms of protection efficiency.
