Dive deeper into the sea in Stage Two of Onion Ocean inKirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe. Under the sea, there are plenty of items to collect and new Copy Abilities to steal. There are also, somehow, anemones that can shoot fire projectiles underwater. Don’t think about it too hard.

To verify you grab everything there is to grab and see everything there is to see, we’ll walk you through this stage. There’s a miniboss fight in the middle, as well as two passageways to take near the end of the stage (taking one or the other could lead you to miss a collectible), so make sure you’re prepared.
First Section
Head down the ladder and into the water. Swim through to the right,dodging and killing any enemiesas you go.
When you come to a block with an anemone enemy on either side, swim to the top, and you’ll see someblocks to destroy. Remove them, and you’ll see asmall alcove on the leftwith enemies, food and a stamp ticket.
Head back down the way you came and go right. Destroy any blocks in your path to collect more stars.Attack the two anemone enemiesto clear the path and continue.
Before following the arrow up,go all the way to the right to grab a cherry.
Head up the ladder to find the star door at the top.
Second Section
Walk along the pier, attacking any enemies in your way.Be careful of the bomb enemythat triggers when you get too close.
Inhale the bomb enemy, and you may blast everything in the vicinity.
Jump over the platform, andthe Kibble Blade will appear.
How To Beat The Kibble Blade
The Kibble Blade acts much like the smaller enemies that give you the Cutter Copy Ability and willthrow its blade at you. It will also attempt to charge at you, butif you jump over it, it’ll crash for a second, which is when you may get some attacks in. You can alsododge the blade and attack from behind.
Once you’ve beaten it, you cangrab the Cutter Copy Abilityfrom it.
Follow the arrow to continue with this section. You’ll seean Energy Sphere below you, so carry on until you seea rope you can cut.Cut it and the platform will drop into the water. Swim back to the left to get the Energy Sphere.
Continue right to reach the star door.
Third Section
Defeat the bee that flies into attack you and go right. you may either go above or below the platform here, butgoing beneath the water will net you starsif you break the blocks at the bottom.
Continue right, breaking the blocks in your way. You’ll again have the choice of going above or below the platform. On the top, there’s anenemy throwing bombs. On the bottom, there are fish trapped by blocks.Destroy the blocks and attack the fish as soon as they’re free, then go for the blocks beneath you. There aremore stars, including a red star.
Keep going right, and jump out of the water. Defeat the bee and jump back into the water where the turtles are. Go right and up to the surface and you’ll seea ledge with food on it. Grab the food and drop your Copy Ability.Inhale one of the bees, then dive to the bottom.
Use the spear to hit the star, and the rocks will rise up to reveal a star door. Go in here.
Hit the first bomb block and destroy the enemies, then do the same for the remaining two bomb blocks andgrab the Energy Sphere. Head back out the way you came.
Back in the stage,head right. Destroy any turtle enemies and jump onto land. Mind the enemy throwing bombs.
Instead of heading straight to the star door,continue right to find a red star below. Then go to the star door to the next section.
Fourth Section
Run straight to the boot and Kirby will sit in it. Use this tojump on enemies and squash them.
When you reach the stump, jump on it and the blocks will disappear. Go ahead, using the boot to squash enemies. At the next section,go underneath the block to pick up the stamp ticket. The boot will protect you from the spikes.
The boot is limited and will disappear if you take your time here, sobe quick to get the stamp ticket.
Continue on andgrab the new boot. Use this tobounce off the spiked enemy ahead, and then off the flying enemies to collect the stars.Smash the golden block to get a Life-Up. Continue bouncing off enemies to get stars and progress.
When you reach the area where you’re able to see the star door, go up the steps to the left.Smash the block to reveal a secret star doorand head in here. You’ll need to still have the boot to do this.
If you go through the star door on the right,you’ll skip the first part of the next areaand won’t be able to obtain the first Energy Sphere.
Grab the Energy Sphereabove you. Grab the star right at the top to remove the blocks below on the right, and go through this passage.
Dive down to the bottom, destroy the blocks, and continue going down to the right.Watch out for the big fish that pops out of the rockand swim above it to the right. Mind the anemone’s fire when collecting the stars, andwatch out for the next big fishwhen picking up the red star.
Continue to the right.Swim around the spiked enemyto collect the stars, and destroy the blocks on the bottom left to grab the milk.
Let the fish come down before you exitto the right, and let the next one go before collecting the stars above it.
Swim down and to the right. Wait for the next big fish to move, thendestroy the blocks above it to grab another Energy Sphere.
Go right and swim up. There’s another fish, sowait for it to go before grabbing the red star.
You’ll need tododge the fish all the way up here— there are two that will appear blocking your way, so just wait for them to move.Smash the blocks above them to reach the star doorat the top and finish the stage.
