Stage Two of Egg Engines inKirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxeis made up of lots of small sections, including trickier areas where you’ll need to be careful about your movements if you want to find all the secret items and collectibles.

This stage also includes a miniboss fight, though you’ll have taken it on before in the boss rush at the end of Nutty Noon. To help you find everything there is on offer in this stage, you can follow this walkthrough to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
First Section
Head directly into the star door on the right. In the next area, there’sa moving block surrounded by spikeswith an enemy inside it.
Wait until it’s in thebottom right corner, then drop down to grab the stars and reach the safe platform.
At the next moving block,wait until it’s in the bottom left, then head through to reach the star door.
Second Section
Destroy the blocks directly ahead of you.Attack the enemies you’ve just released, and then destroy the star blocks above. Attack the enemies again.Destroy the final set of blocks and enemiesto access the star door.
Third Section
Headdown to the leftand attack theenemy waitinghere. When you get tothe spinning blade, wait for the bottom half to just pass you, thengo through the gap. Attack the enemy on the other side and head up.
There’s another spinning blade when you head right, but it’sspinning in the opposite direction. Float up andfollow it aroundto land safely on the other side of it. Attack the enemy here.
Once again, there’s a spinning blade. This onespins much faster than the previous two, and there’sanother behind it just out of sight. Wait for a safe gap between both of them and head through the star door at the end.
Fourth Section
Head right andstay under the moving platform above. Spinning drills drop from above, butthe platform will shield you.
Jump up on the platform to see a snowman enemy.Grab the Ice Copy Ability from it. Continue right, and there’s another moving platform with drills falling from above. Stay under the platform and destroy the enemies in your path.
Attack the enemy on the next platform and continue right.Again, stay under the moving platformto avoid being hit from above. Destroy the enemies and blocks to pass through. You’ll reach a small safe section, and then need to stay under the next moving platform.
Stop when you see thefire blocks above you. Use the Ice Copy Ability you grabbed earlier tocool them off and destroy them. You’ll get stars and a stamp ticket in return.
Continue under the next moving platform and go through the star door.
Fifth Section
Jump down and head right. Amoving platform with an enemyon it will move up and down over a set of fire blocks. You candestroy these blocks with the Ice Copy Abilityto grab the stars and safely go underneath the moving platform.
There aremore fire blocksto cool and destroy just ahead. Do so to get stars and a red star. Jump up to the next platform. Just below you here,destroy the fire blocks to access a food item. Wait for the moving platform to come down, thenfloat up and destroy the fire blocks above you. Grab the Energy Sphere.
If you don’t destroy the blocks in time, Kirby will be squashed in between the platform and the blocks,killing you instantly. You’ll respawn without the Ice Copy Ability and need torestart the stage to get the Energy Sphere.
Drop back down anddestroy the fire blocks on the other sideof the moving platform to obtain a red star and a food item.
Hop up the stairs on the right to reach the star door.
Sixth Section
There aretwo cannons directly aheadof you. Wait until they fire cannonballs, then go upwards just after they fire. Go right at the top.Grab the Stone Copy Ability aboveyou and head up the ladder.
Go right at the top, and you’ll seethree cannons in a rowalong the bottom. On the left-hand side, there’s a full HP restore and a stamp ticket.
Use theStone Copy Ability next to the blockscovering the alcove to destroy them and grab the items.
Head up when the path’s clear and go through the star door on the left.
Seventh Section
If you missed the Stone Copy Ability before, you cangrab it from the pool directly below you.Use the Stone Copy Ability on the blockson the right to dive straight through them and sink into the water.
Swim right and through the passage. In the next room, you’ll seespiked wheels rolling around. Wait for a gap andswim upwards, following their direction.
Instead of going right at the passage,swim down to reach a red star. Follow the wheels around again to reach the passage.
Swim through the passage and follow the arrow right. After the first wheel passes,swim down and right to pick up a red star. Turn around and follow the wheel around in a circle, collecting the stars on the way. Go through thepassage at the bottom.
Attack the enemies that come your way andhead down the right side of the roomand round to the left.
There’sanother room with spiked wheels. Follow them around to the top of the room to find a cherry and an Energy Sphere trapped by blocks. Float up to where the cherry is and you’ll reach air.Use the Stone Copy Ability when the path is clear to sink down. You’ll smash the blocks and reach the Energy Sphere.
If you werehit by any of the wheelson the way down, you will have lost your Stone Copy Ability and will need toreset this area to grab it from the start again.
Wait for an opening and head back out,following the wheels around to the left. Swim through the passage and jump out of the water to find the star door on the left.
Eighth Section
Run into the room on the left and then out again. You’ll trigger the bomb enemy, so you’ll need to keep a safe distance. Once it’s exploded, head through the passage and attack the enemies here. There’sanother bomb enemy on the other side, so when it triggers, stay safe in the passage.
When it’s clear, go up the ladder on the left.Run past all the bombsand destroy the blocks to reach the star door at the end.
Ninth Section
Go right andfloat above the enemies to grab the stars. Land on the platform, then float below the spiked enemies here. Drop onto the next platform. Float through the enemies ahead and head down the ladder.
Go left and float across the spiked enemies to collect the stars.These enemies float up and down, so be wary as you do.
Land on the platform and float through the next set of enemies.Stop on the platform in the middleto grab a food item.
Float through again to reach the star door.
Dubior Miniboss Fight
Here, you cangrab the Whip or Leaf Copy Abilities from the enemies above. You can also grab a food item between them. Choose one and continue right foran encounter with the Dubior.
How To Defeat Dubior
Dubior flits rapidly across the arena. It will alsocharge at you from one end to the other, so you’ll need to react fast when dodging. It producessmall copies of itselfthat will attack you if you don’t destroy them first. It can alsothrow balls of electricity.
Additionally, it will float above you and shoot lines of electricity downat you. Move out of the way immediately when it begins to hover above you.
The ideal time to hit Dubior is after it’s charged at youand crashed into the edge of the arena. Attack it a few times when it’s done this, and you’ll soon reduce its HP to zero.
Keep hitting it after it’s down to receive theSpark Copy Ability, then follow the arrow to the right to enter the star door.
11th Section
Hit the star button and the small room you’re in will start moving.Look above you to see a bomb blockcoming up.Aim a shot of electricity upwardsto hit it and destroy some blocks ahead. Continue hitting the bomb blocks as you pass.
Hit all three and you’ll gain afull HP restore, a Life-Up and an Energy Sphere.
Continue shooting electricity upwardsas you go through so you don’t miss any bomb blocks.
12th Section
Hit the enemy in front of you and grab the star lever.A key will appear, so grab it. Wait for the moving platform ahead to go up and pass through. For the next, you’ll have towait for them to separateand then jump through them.
On the next platform, you’ll see an enemy that glows red.It only moves when you’re holding the key. Stay on the platform and wait for it to reach you,then destroy it. Jump across the next moving platforms and hit the star button.
The spiked platform will swap for a platform with stars, so jump ahead onto it. Jump through the next platforms quickly when they open up. They close quickly and willsquash you if you aren’t fast enough.
Take the key to the locked doorto grab the Energy Sphere. Jump up to the next level to reach the final star door.
