Onion Ocean is the third world inKirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe, and Stage One has a lot for you to explore and experience. There’s a new Super Ability to try out, star doors to find, Life-Ups to grab, and more.

As you make your first steps into Onion Ocean, you’ll want to make sure you find everything. With this walkthrough, you’re able to uncover just about everything there is to see in this stage, so you won’t miss any collectibles or hidden areas that you’ll want to check out.
First Section
As you enter the stage, head into the water anddestroy the blocks and the octopus to collect some stars. Jump out of the water and past the Waddle Dee holding a parasol.
Be careful walking under the trees, asthe coconuts will drop and explodewhen they hit you or the ground. Continue past the arrow, and when you come to the pool of water,jump on the rope above it. Kirby will latch onto it, and you can continue across.
When you come to the cannon shooting cannonballs,wait for a gap, and then continue through. Jump up to reach the stars above you, then continue on.
Mind the octopuses that leap up at you, and drop onto the land below. Be wary of theangry snowman enemythat waits here, and attack or dodge it. Attack or dodge the Waddle Dees that follow.
At the tree with a ladder, avoid the falling coconuts and go up to grab the banana andIce Copy Ability. Continue right and jump onto the next rope. Keep going across, avoiding the enemy projectiles, and you’ll seea Life-Up below you.
Drop onto the area of land that’s not covered in fire, anduse your Water Copy Ability to cool the area down. Destroy the blocks and grab the Life-Up. Jump back up to grab the rope again.
Keep going ahead, making sure to stop to avoid projectiles and cannonballs where necessary. Continue to the end of the rope and jump off.
The enemy here will aim to land on youif you’re not careful, so dodge it when it tries to do so. Avoid all the falling coconuts and head for the star to go to the next area.
Second Section
Grab theParasol Copy Abilityahead. Use this tofloat down on the right, grabbing the stars and avoiding the firethat’s being spewed upwards. Just before you reach the bottom, steer right and you’ll seea small alcove with a pineapple. Dodge the enemy and grab it.
Continue floating down, grabbing stars and dodging the fire as you go. A little further down, there’sa block sticking out on the left. Drop your Parasol Copy Ability to swallow the block and claim the blue star.
Return to the right and drop down — the floor isn’t far. The star door is beneath the water.
Third Section
Destroy the blocks ahead of you to grab some stars, then jump out of the pool of water.A spinning enemy will appear when you get up to the top, so watch out for this.
Watch out for the falling coconuts and grab theTornado Copy Ability. You can use this to blast through any enemies or blocks in your way. Continue until you reach the cave-like area.
Above here, you candestroy some blocks to retrieve a piece of meatand restore HP.
Grab the stamp ticket in the middle of the room, and blast through the rest of the enemies. Attack the robot enemy as you exit andwatch out for the big coconutsthat fall as you walk through. There’s another robot at the bottom to dispatch, as well as some turtles.
At the end, you’ll come across various platforms to climb up. Some of them havecoconuts hanging on them that you may’t see, so be careful as you go up here. The star door is at the top on the right.
Fourth Section
Attack the bee enemy ahead of you, then drop down to where the Waddle Dees are. Just to the right,you’ll see a star to interact with. Do this, and the platform you’re standing on will move across the water. Watch out for the enemies in your way.
Now, you’ll see enemies swinging from the trees using rope. You can attack or avoid these. Interact with the next star, and the platform you’re on will again start moving.Attack the bee enemy as it approaches.
Be careful as you jump onto the next platform, asthere’s a coconut waiting to fall. Ahead, you’ll see small blocks each with an X with them.They’ll break after you stand on them. Run across here, attacking enemies as you go.This is easiest with the Tornado Copy Abilityas you’ll spin right across.
Jump onto the next platform and interact with the star again. It’ll start moving and take you to the other side.
Halfway across, you’ll seea spiked enemy beneath a bomb block. Attack this using a Copy Ability, and it will reveal a secret star door just up ahead of you. Go in here.
In this room, there are two stars to interact with. Each will activate a platform on the right that you can use to reach the locked door, butthey’ll disappear after a short amount of time.
Grab the key, run across them both, and quickly jump up the platforms to reach the door andaccess the Energy Sphere. Head back the way you came to return to the stage.
Continue, and you’ll see more X blocks.Run across these to avoid the falling coconutand falling into the water.
Jump onto the next platform with a star on it. When you interact with the star, the platform will move once again.Watch out for the spiked enemy and the coconutat the end. The star door is at the end of here.
Fifth Section
Head right, and you’ll come across some flaming totems with a sandcastle between them.Jump over theseto avoid getting burned.
Just past here, a star portal will open up and an enemy will fall out. Defeat the enemy to get theSnow Bowl Super Ability. Using this, Kirby will turn into a huge snowball and, well, snowball anything in his path.
Use the Snow Bowl Super Ability as you continue, destroying everything on the way.You can jump in this form, so when you reach the steps, jump up to continue.
In the next area, there aregaps between the platforms that you can fall down. verify to jump across these or you will lose momentum. After bowling through here, head through the star door.
Destroying the large sandcastle just before the star door will reveala stamp ticket and red star.
Sixth Section
Use your Snow Bowl Super Ability, making sure to jump across the platforms. Build up momentum as you go down the slope.
When you reach the large sandcastle,make sure to jump up to destroy all of it. This causesa star portal that you can enter to open up. Go in here.
The wall will start to chase you from the top of the screen, sohead to the star on the right quickly. This causes the platform you’re on to descend. Head left, swallow the blocks, and then expel them to hit the bomb block.
Jump down onto the star and the platform will descend. Go right andinhale the two mushroom enemiesand the blocks to clear the path. Jump onto the star on the platform to descend again.
Go left andinhale the huge block. Expel it to clear the path and land on the next platform and star. Go left and dodge the spiked enemies that move up and down. Jump on the star and platform to the right.
Swim through the water on the left, dodging the enemies. Collect the starsif you have time. Land on the star and platform on the left.
Go right at the next area, andwatch out for the three spiked enemiesacross here. Jump on the star and platform at the end.
If you have time,jump onto the platform on your right to grab the Life-Up. If not, go straight for the star below.
Jump into the water on the right andavoid the sea creatures’ fire projectiles. Grab the pineapple between them and jump off to the right onto the next star and platform.
Turn left and inhale the first mushroom enemy. Expel it to attack the rest and continue to the next star.
Inhale the blocks to clear the way here. Collect the stars if you wish and jump onto the next platform on the right.Start inhaling early here, as you’ll need to take in a large block. Expel it to clear the path and reach the star door.
Sphere Doomer Boss Fight
You’ll have the choice between theTornado and Sword Copy Abilitieshere. There’s also a piece of meat in between them to restore your health. Choose your preference and go down the ladder.
The Sphere Doomer is much like the times you’ve taken it on before, but there are some new things at play here.
Other than that,its moves are much the same. Defeat it to grabtwo Energy Spheres.
Head up the ladder on the rightto exit through the star portal and return to the stage.
Walk up the last remaining sand dunes to reach the star door and finish the stage.
