Heading into Stage Four of Onion Ocean inKirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe, you’re nearing the end of this level on Planet Popstar, but there’s still a lot to see and discover, namely Energy Spheres, if you’re collecting them.

In this part of the ocean, you’ll be dodging huge fish, using bombs to blast your way through, and much more. To ensure you don’t miss a single thing in this section of Onion Ocean, you can follow our walkthrough.
First Section
Jump into the water, dodging or attacking the turtles on the way.Head for the bomb blockin the bottom right. Attack it to collect the stars. Do the same with the next one below.
Follow the arrow down, and hit the next bomb block. Be wary of thetwo vicious fish insidehere as you collect the red star. Continue swimming down until you reach the seafloor. Smash the blocks on the right to reach the star button.
Interact with this, anda large platform will raise on the right. Wait for it to settle before going in, and attack the squid enemies that appear.
Go down to reach the star door.
Second Section
Hit the bomb block directly ahead to clear the path. Wait for thespinning, spiked poleto give you a safe gap, then go through to the right. To pass the next one, you’ll need toswim along the top to follow its pattern. Hit the bomb block below on the right and continue down, hitting all the bomb blocks you come across.
There’s another spiked pole, sowait for it to leave you a gap to swim through.
Hit the bomb block on your leftto reach an area with stars and a donut.
Swim down again, and hit the next bomb block. Attack the squid enemies and turn to hit the bomb block on the left.Follow the spiked pole againto get through. Kill the enemy here, then hit the next bomb block.
The arrow tells you to go down here, butif you look above, you’ll see a star door. Pass the spiked pole and head up to go through it. The Sword Copy Ability is available next to it, too.
In this room, there are three items above the three Waddle Dees, including the key you need. First,press the pink star buttonto make the Waddle Dees fall into the water. Then, jump up to pull the blue star lever. The items will fall.Jump over the pink star buttonto grab the items and key.
If you press accidentally press the pink star button,the items will fall into the water. You can exit the room and re-enter if you do this, though.
Jump over the pink star button again andtake the key to the locked door to access the Energy Sphere. Head back through the door to return to the main stage.
Go back into the water andswim down past the spiked pole. Hit the bomb block to continue down, and then hit the one on the bottom right.
There’s a row of spiked poles at the top and bottom of the room with stars between them.Collect the stars while dodging the spikes. If you want the cherry in the top right at the end of the room, hit the bomb block and make sure to kill the fish.
Swim down to see more spiked poles and stars.Go down the center when there’s a gap, stopping in the middle to wait for the next gap.
The star door is at the bottom on right. Hit the bomb block and kill the fish to go through.
Third Section
Hit the blocks directly above you and swim up.Hit the star button on the rightto make the wall open up, revealing a passage. Go through here, collecting the stars and attacking the enemies.
Swim down on the other side, and you’ll seeanother star button on the rightto hit. This opens up the wall here. Go through, collecting the stars and destroying the squid enemies.
Swim up. Hit the blocks at the top to reach an area with a food item and enemy. Go back down todestroy the blocks on the rightand continue. Destroy the blocks below and swim down, attacking more blocks and enemies on the way.The next star button is on the bottom right.
The path opens up again, and this time there’san anemone enemy at the end.Avoid its projectiles and go into the star door. You’ll seean Energy Sphere and another star door on the other side, but you may’t get to them. Grab the food at the top for some temporary invincibility.
Go back out for now, and continue swimming up and to the right. The outside here has a similar layout to the room, soswim down and land on the ledge to the left. It’s in the same place as the other star door, and you’re able to go in here.
Hit the star button on the right, and the blocks will disappear. Attack all the fish and go up to grab the Energy Sphere. Go back out the star door where you came.
Go right to hit the star buttonand open up another path. As you go along the path, there’sa gap in the ceiling. Jump up here, defeat an enemy, and you’ll get a star and two pieces of meat.
Hop back down and continue right. Hit the bomb block above you, and then thestar button on the right. The path will open. The star door is just here, but defeat the fish enemies first.
Fourth Section
Hit the bomb block just ahead.A spiked ammonite fossil will move up and down, so wait for it to leave a gap. There’s a second one after it, so do the same here. Grab the stars and grape at the bottom, then go up to the right.
Hit the next two bomb blocks and dodge the next ammonite fossil. Destroy the blocks on the bottom right to gain theSpear Copy Ability. Go up and destroy the bomb block to clear the path up.
Hit the blocks above, thenthe pink star button on the right. This will give you passage into the room above.
Hitting the star button here removes the blocks ahead so you can progress, but it alsofrees the large spiked ammonite fossil behind you. Swim left, making sure to stay ahead of it. Destroy the blocks to clear the path and gain some extra stars.
Go up at the end, and hit the next two bomb blocks. The room on the right hasa spiked enemy that floats up and down, and grapes at the end.
Go up and hit the pink star button to enter the room above. Hit the blue star button, and you’ll again have tooutrun the ammonite fossil. Hit the blocks a little further along to get a red star.
A little after that, there’sa dip in the floor with a red star and fruit. Drop in here, and the ammonite will roll over the top so you can pass through with ease as it smashes blocks and enemies.
It will also destroy the blocks at the end of the path toreveal stars and an Energy Sphere. Go up from here to reach the next star door on the top left.
Fifth Section
Drop down, and you’ll have the option of going left or right.It doesn’t matter which way you go. Destroy the blocks to make a path down, and there’s one exit at the bottom. Go down here.
Pick up the bomband carry it with you all the way down, jumping across the platforms. It will grow bigger. Let itexplode near the golden block. You’ll receive a Life-Up.
Continue left past here and go down the ladder. You’ll see another bomb, sopick it up and walk through the pink star button. It makes blocks appear so you can jump. Jump here and onto the next platform, then hit the next pink star button you see. These will continue to make platforms for you to jump on and carry the bomb further.
If you fall and the bomb explodes early, you canbacktrack to pick up another one.
Continue hitting the pink star buttons and jumping across the platforms. Go past the ladder andaim for the golden blocks.You’ll probably only destroy the first set with the first blast, so to reach the Energy Sphere,head back up the way you came to grab another bomb. Once you’ve got it, go down the ladder to reach the star door.
Sixth Section
Destroy the bomb block ahead of you.A fish is waiting to pop outat the end, so don’t rush out. When it goes back down, swim up. Head right at the top.Destroy the bomb block aboveyou and the blocks ahead will disappear, allowing you to reach the stars. Dodge the fish here too.
When you swim out of the passage to the right,an even bigger fish will try to eat you. Wait for it to move back to pass through. Swim above it and hit the bomb block to clear the path. Go up to receivefood, a stamp ticket, and the Spear Copy Ability.
Hit the next bomb block and avoid the fish on the way down.Aim for the bottom right, where there’s another set of bomb blocks to remove. Another fish is at the end, so watch out for this.
This area is full of fish, stars and food. To collect all the items,dodge the fish as you swim around.
Right at the top of the room, there’s anEnergy Sphere behind some blocks. Hit the bomb block to access it, but mind the fish popping out just below it.
Swim to the right of the room, andhead down when you see the bomb block on the bottom right, before a long row of blocks. Hit the bomb block while minding the fish here and swim through the path.
Head up, anddodge the big fish coming in from the right. On the left, there’s another bomb block you can break. Do this to get some stars. Swim up past the next fish, and there’s yet another bomb block. Attack this for more stars.
Swim to the surface and head right. Attack the bee enemy, thenhit the bomb block below you.
This reveals the path to the star door and the end of the stage.
