Aloy and Seyka fly toward Pangea Park on a Waterwing in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores

Just getting to Pangea Park is a task all its own, to say nothing of the challenges you’ll face once you get there. This guide takes you through each step of the way, including the order in which you should visit each attraction!

How To Reach Pangea Park

Start the quest bymeeting Seyka on the beachat the eastern side of the large central island. After the conversation, travel to the shore south of Fleet’s End anddive into the ocean.

There are several Snapmaws patrolling the depths; you can use theQuen ballistas on the sunken shipsto fight them if needed, but it’s best to use the kelp to remain hidden.

Use your Focus to search for dead Waterwings along the sea floor and search them until youfind the parts needed for the Override. When you have both, swim to the surface and call your Sunwing.

Fly to the nearest workbench - either at the Shelter to the south or in Fleet’s End - and install the Override on your spear. Next, travel by Sunwing or skiff to the archipelago at the south-center edge of the map.

Seyka will flag you down on the beach where the Waterwings roost. Override one and mount up. There are several that sit still facing the water until they’re provoked, so it should be fairly easy to sneak up on one.

After the cutscene, take off and fly east.As soon as you pass over thered buoysmarking the defense tower’s range, it will start firing at you.

There are two ways to avoid the tower’s shots;dive underwaterorfly behind ruins.Aloy gives her breathing mask to Seyka, so you can’t stay underwater too long or you’ll run out of air. The ruins will quickly crumble when shot by the tower’s missiles, so they’ll only protect you against maybe half of a salvo.

Between shots, fly straight for the tower. As soon as you’re within range to land, a cutscene will trigger; as long as you cross the finish line with a little bit of your mount’s health intact, you’ll be okay.

Once you land, youwon’t be able to leave Pangea Parkuntil its air defenses are disabled at the end of the quest.

How To Get Into Pangea Park

Start along the trail up the mountain; Seyka will alert you toa pair of guards looking over the ridge. They’re not expecting anyone, and they split up after their conversation, sotake them out one by one.The path to the left will take you up to their level, where they can be eliminated with a Silent Strike or a well-placed headshot.

Continue past the guards’ ridge to find the Londra Productions building. Take the right-hand path to find a Datapoint in a van; once you scan it,turn aroundand take a look at the building.

There’s a fire escape leading into the soundstage that you can use to infiltrate the building from above, but trying to climb will cause the ledge to break.Use the Pullcasterto yank out a beam across from the ladder.

There are two guards inside.Stay on the upper leveland wait for an opportunity to take one out with a Strike From Above. The other one is patrolling the stage;sneak around clockwise while he’s not lookingto enter from the rear and hide in the grass until he walks by for an easy Silent Strike.

Loot the chests behind the animatronic dinosaur, thenexit through the rear of the building. You can nowexplore Pangea Park; there’s a lot to see, but your main destination is the Volcano attraction, which you won’t be able to enter right away.

Start byheading west;there’s a campfire that you can use to save. The park is patrolled by Specters and the occasional Devotees, but for the most part they can be easily evaded.

How To Get Fedder’s Key

Go to the Raptor Raid building on the west side of the park; check the safe and Datapoint on the right, then take the hallway to the left. Open the door at the end of the hall to trigger a cutscene.

Once gameplay resumes, eliminate Fedder and his guards. There are eight, including Fedder himself. There’s a patch of grassright next to Fedder’s tentthat gives you an opportunity to take him out quietly; watch his movements inside and strike when he’s not looking.

Take Fedder’s Key from his body once he’s dead, andloot the chests in and around his tent.Finish the remaining guards, thenleave the way you came; you’ll have to jump to reach the door.

Be careful as you go back outside; new guards will have arrived, including one just outside of Raptor Raid.

As soon as you enter, a cutscene will trigger, followed by a boss fight against anApex Slaughterspine. The machine is weak againstFire and Acid damage, so you can drain its health over time while fighting it. It makes heavy use of Plasma, soequip armor and Weavesthat can help you resist this dangerous element.
