Resting Townis one of the first areas you will visit that has a wide range of Quests you can tackle, with some being a bit vague or directionless, which can be a tad frustrating if you don’t know where to look. The good news is that you can complete most of these Quests relatively easily once you know where to go and what to do.
Mourning Quest Walkthrough
Upon your arrival in Resting Town, headeastward past the Confluenceand continue in that direction,passing by Alice- the Conjurer in front of the large hut with a snail sign - until youreach an archway with a little girl on the other sideof it.
How To Obtain Candles And Ritual Flowers
This isNicole.Speak with her and select the “Ask about Candles and Ritual Flowers” option from the dialogue menu toreceive Candles and Ritual Flowers.These will allow you to complete the Quest “Farewell,” which we will cover in the section below.
While this is a short Quest, you can pass Nicole by or not select this dialogue option, which will make this and the Farewell Quest incompletable, so be sure tospeak with her as soon as possibleto receive the Candles and Ritual Flowers.
Farewell Quest Walkthrough
This Quest istechnically started in the Rubiwood Desertzone after youdefeat the Lush Wolfand obtain thePrism Bone of Aros,but you cannot complete it until you reachResting Townand speak toNicole.
Due to this being the only available Quest in the Rubiwood Desert (at least at first), we decided to include it here, considering you must make it to Resting Town to continue and complete it.
Resting Path Confluence Location
Regardless, after obtaining theCandles and Ritual Flowersfrom Nicole in Resting Town, you will have to travel to theResting Path,located underneath Resting Town. When here, make your way to theConfluence near the zone’s southeast.
When here,head to the area directly above the Confluenceby jumping on theplatform to the leftof it, thenfollowing the steps upto theResting Site.There will be enemies here, so dispatch them beforeplacing the Candles and Ritual Flowerson thegrave.
Doing this will conclude the Farewell Quest and unlock theCondolenceTrophy/Achievement, leaving one last Quest for you to tackle in Resting Town!
Delicacy Quest Walkthrough
When you finally make it to Resting Town after taking down the formidable Three Question Mark Boss,you will see a handful of NPCs you may speak to, granting you access to new Quests and even Shops.
One of these NPCs isAlice,aConjurerat thefar east end of the Townstanding in front of a hut with a giant snail sign. Speaking with Alice will begin theDelicacy Quest,which involves youtracking down two ingredientsfor herMushroom Family Recipe.
These ingredients are theMushroom Sporeand theMedium Rare Mushroom,both of which are unobtainable until you reach theField of Geozone. Fortunately, that will be your next stop, so continue following the main pathway until you arrive there.
Finding The Ingredients
Once you reach the Field of Geo, you will want tonavigate to the northmost section of the regionbefore you encounter theMushroom-type enemiesthatdrop the ingredients you need.So, from the first Confluence, begin your ascension upward through the Field of Geo.
The enemies you are looking for are theBouncing Fungus, Sporeling, and Sporeling Nest,which you can learn more about via the table below!

Mushroom Spore
After you obtain at least one Mushroom Spore and a Medium Rare Mushroom, you can head back to Resting Town and speak to Alice. After giving her the ingredients she asked for, you will gain access to Conjurer Alice’s.
Conjurer Alice’s is where you will be able to bring Alice a variety of different ingredients, which she will then turn into Meals,allowing you to consume them for unique and potent buffs.First-time consumption of these Meals will grant you permanent buffs, so take advantage of this!
Food Buffs will also give youtemporary Buffs,sotry using them during Boss encountersor when traversing through the more formidable regions in the game. We suggest not consuming them the moment you get them, as you will be wasting excellent bonuses that will help you in battle.
