Most notices that you find inThe Witcher 3often lead to witcher contracts, some of the game’s best side content. Completing these contracts will pit you against a dangerous adversary and will reward you with a hefty coin pouch. Most of the time, at any rate. One of Skellige’s contracts has Geralt look for a stolen horn in a quest that is both banal and brief.

This quest consists solely of retrieving a stolen horn from a group of bandits and ferrying it back to the contract giver for a humble reward. If you have gotten lost or need a hand, this guide is for you.
Starting A Hallowed Horn
There aretwo ways to start A Hallowed Horn.You can eitherpick up the contract at Holmstein’s notice board,or you couldkill the thieves and loot the horn.The latter is quicker, though you will need to find the bandits without a quest marker.
The bandits areto the north of Holmstein,halfway through the island chain marked by broken bridges. You will need toimprovise a routebetween each island orsail a boatin order to reach the bandits.
The islands are home toa large population of Ekhidna.Theseflying monsterswill harass Geralt as soon as he gets close. Like other flying monsters, Ekhidna can begrounded with a crossbow boltor awell-timed strike.
Finding The Horn
The thieves willattack Geralt on sight,giving you little choice but tokill them.
This fight will pit you againsta large gangin a relatively small area.Be aware of your surroundingsand ensure that youdo not get surrounded.
You can look for the horn once the thieves are dead. It isin a chest on the north side of the island.If youhad not picked up the contract,the quest starts here.
With the horn in hand, you canreturn to the quest giverfor your reward. He will express some regret about the dead thieves, thoughthere is no way to spare them.
