Best Relics And Planar Ornaments For Hook
While you might already have Relics unlocked,you can only farm them once you unlock different Caverns of Corrosion. Planar Ornaments can also be farmed from different Worlds of the Simulated Universe. You can have up to four Relics and two Planar Ornaments on each character including Hook.
Having two or four pieces of the same typegives you a special bonus effect from that type. Here are some of the best effects you can find for Hook:
Relics
Thief Of Shooting Meteor
Break Effect can be one of the best stats for Hook sinceher Skill and Ultimate are great for removing an enemy’s Toughness bar. This Relic set gives you up to 32 percent Break Effect if you have all four of its pieces.
Moreover, you can alsoregenerate some Energy every time you trigger Weakness Break, which allows you to use your Ultimate more often.
Firesmith Of Lava-Forging
The two-piece bonus of this set gives you an extra ten percent Fire DMG Bonus. Moreover,your Skill DMG is increased if you have the four-piece by 12 percent. These two stats already buff the main damage coming from Hook.
You also get an extra 12 percent Fire DMG Bonus for one attack after using your Ultimate.This synergizes perfectly with Hook’s enhanced Skill.
Guard Of Wuthering Snow
This is more of a sustaining Relic set for Hook as she’ll take less DMG with this. Furthermore,if her health is below 50 percent, she’ll heal up and regenerate some Energy. If you don’t have a healer on your team, you can use this set on her.
Planar Ornaments
Space Sealing Station
This Ornament set increases your ATK by up to 24 percent if you have 120 SPD or more,which is something you’d want to have on all your characters. It can be farmed in World three itself.
While it might not be the best in slot set for Hook, it’s easier to farm during the early game.
Talia: Kingdom Of Banditry
As mentioned above, Break Effect can be perfect on Hook if you want to use her as the Weakness Break character.This set gives you another 36 percent Break Effect, which stacks with the 32 percent from Thief Of Shooting Meteor.
Inert Salsotto
Finally,the Inert Salsotto set can be good if you want to use Hook as a DPS character. It gives you an eight percent Crit Rate and a 15 percent Ultimate DMG boost if your Crit Rate is over 50 percent.
Other than the set bonuses,each Relic and Planar Ornament has a main stat and up to four sub-stats. This is where most of your stats for a character come from, so it’s important to know what you should prioritize:

If you’re not using ATK Percent as the main stat on any of your gear,it’s important to look for this stat in your Light Cone or sub-stats.

Best Light Cones For Hook

Something Irreplaceable
This is one of the best Destruction Light Cones in the game as itgives you an ATK boost and heals your character whenever they’re attackedor if they defeat an enemy. Moreover, you also get a DMG boost if the healing part triggers.
The healing and the DMG bonus can only be triggered once per turn, but it goes well if Hook uses an enhanced Skill at the right time.
The Moles Welcome You
This is Hook’s signature weapon, and it’s quite simple. Whenever youuse any of your active abilities (Basic Attack, Skill, or Ultimate), you gain an ATK boost. This can be good on Hook if you have a lot of SPD or use characters like Bronya with her.
Woof! Walk Time!
This is a free-to-play Light Cone thatcan be acquired through exploration or the Forgotten Hall shop. It gives you an ATK boost and increases your DMG to enemies affected by Burn. This is perfect because Hook is great at applying Burn to enemies.
This DMG bonus also applies to the DoT caused by the Burn effect.
Nowhere To Run
This is kind of a four-star variant of Something Irreplaceable as it also gives you an ATK boost,but you only regenerate your HP if you defeat an enemy. If you have this weapon on a higher Superimposition, it can be quite good for Hook.
Shattered Home
If you’re just starting out in the game and don’t have better Light Cones, this three-star item willgive you up to a 40 percent DMG boost on enemies over 50 percent HP. This can be a little inconsistent in the open world since enemies go below 50 percent quite fast.

Basic Attack
Deals a certain amount of Fire DMG to one enemy and recharges one Skill Point.

Skill
Consumes one Skill Point and deals Fire DMG to one enemy,with a 100 percent chance to apply Burn for two turns. An enhanced Skill deals Fire DMG to multiple enemies.
Boom! Here Comes The Fire!
Ultimate
Deals ahigh amount of Fire DMG to a single enemyand enhances your next Skill.
Ha! Oil To The Flames
Talent
If you attack an enemy who already has the Burn effect,Hook deals extra DMG.

Technique
Hook dashes at the enemy and deals Fire DMG to one random enemy. Moreover, there’s a100 percent chance to apply Burn to all enemies for three turns.
Naivete
Bonus Ability
Increases the chances to resist Crowd Control debuffs by 35 percent.
Playing With Fire
Heractions are advanced and she regenerates some Energywhenever you use her Ultimate.
These bonus abilities can make the Light Cones and Relics mentioned above much better. Moreover,it’s important to know the priority that you should upgrade your Traces. The Skill should be your priority since it’s the ability that you’ll use the most. This can be followed by the Ultimate or the Talent.
After upgrading those three abilities, you can upgrade Hook’s Basic Attack whenever you can. Although, it’s recommended tostop upgrading the Basic Attack at around level five or sixsince you won’t be using it much.
