However, when you arrive at the location, you’ll encounter Wisteria, who wants to defeat and prevent you from saving Kara. Since it’s not a traditional boss fight, you must remember some crucial points to get through this section, so go through them and save Kara.
Preparation
Before you enter the room, ensure youuse the checkpoint nearbyto restore your health and potions. This fight requires you to be patient, so you’ll need the potions to make it through the fight.
As forrecommended spells, choose whichever ones you preferto use. For example, if you like the continuous damage of Static Shock or the range of Fireball, pick those spells.

Your main target can’t dodge during this fight, so you’ll land free damage while you fight the boss.
You should alsobring the recruit with Glacial Strikefor this fight. That combo deals good damage whileleaving an ice field on the ground, dealing more damage to the cage, even if you must retreat for a moment.

How To Free Kara
Winning the battle may seem simple at first, but you have to tackle this boss differently from others.
If you attempt to attack Wisteria, you won’t deal any damage to her, and Kara will clarify thatyou must attack her cage, which willautomatically end the fight.

You must remember multiple points while you attack the cage.
The cage works as the main boss you must damage, while Wisteria is the damage dealer you must dodge and avoid during the fight.Prioritize the cageunless you’re in a dangerous situation.

The Strategy
With this fight, you’llneed a hit-and-run approachto deal damage, avoid attacks, and survive. Start byrushing Kara’s Prison and attacking it with your Glacial Strike combo.
This works well since it doesn’t have much end lag, and the first three strikes are easy to dodge if Wisteria sends an attack your way.

Try toactivate Static Shock right before you leave, so it’ll deal more damage while you avoid Wisteria’s attacks.
Once Wisteria forces you away from the prison cell, you canuse the rest of your mana to shoot fireballs at the cell, chipping away at it.

After you find an opening, you’llhijack Wisteria’s spell if it’s off cooldown and launch it at the prison.
Wisteria will sometimes take steps toward you, so do your best tostand away from the cage and draw her toward that location.

Doing so will help keep her from the cell, so her melee and mid-range attacks won’t reach you while you destroy the cage. It may take some time to draw her attention away and get her to move, but you’ll make the rest of the fight easier.
Once Wisteria unleashes more attacks at you, dodge toward the cell again and restart the process.

If you run low on health or don’t have any potions, you may avoid approaching the cell andonly deal damage with hijacked spells. It’ll take longer, but you won’t be in a risky position.
You’ll slowly chip away at the health until you drain about one-third of it, starting her next phase.
Wisteria’s Second Phase
After you deal some damage,Wisteria will call in guards to stop you. These guardsconstantly move toward you and attempt to stop you from reaching the cage.
Even though Wisteria can’t take damage, the guards don’t have invulnerability.
Instead of focusing on the bars, you shouldattack the guards and take them out. Use your chain to grab onto them and perform melee attacks to deal quick damage.
Once you defeat them, you’re able to turn your attention to the prison cell and attack it.
Don’t be afraid touse your magic against the guardsto maximize your damage. While it’s nice to have the magic to damage the bars, you mustdefeat the additional enemies, or they’ll attack you and pose themselves as obstacles.

Wisteria’s Third Phase
Once you remove about half the prison bars' health, Wisteria will startsummoning these sigils that connect to the prison bars.
They create a line from themselves to the prison, so if you try to attack the prison bars, you won’t deal much damage. However, a quick combo will take out the sigils.
You’ll follow the same steps as before, except you shouldprioritize the sigilsabove all else. You’ll still have enemies attacking you, so take care of them as they get in your way.
After a while, Wisteria will bring outenemies with homing nature spells, so you should attack them. You can alsohijack their spellsand use them against the prison bars to maximize your damage.
If any of them launch homing spells at you, look for theenemies with their staffs on the ground. The spells will keep chasing you until you damage those foes, so take care of them.
Wisteria’s Attacks
As you go through the fight, Wisteria will use multiple attacks against you, so take a moment to learn her moves, so you’ll know how to dodge them.
The Attack
How To Dodge It

Move out of the range of the red circle, and you won’t take damage. If you’re mid-combo, mash the dash button to avoid it.
Wisteria creates ablack hole on the ground, immediately damaging you if you stay there.
Immediately dodge to the sideto get out of its range.
Wisteriaswipes her staffand attempts to strike you.
This one’s hard to predict, sostay out of her melee range, and you shouldn’t see this attack often.
Wisteria extendsa cone from where she stands, sending out a wave in its directionand dealing damage.
Immediately dodge away from it to avoid damage. It’s a mid-range move, so you should be relatively safe if you keep her at a distance.
Wisteria summonsmultiple orbs around the stageto deal damage at their location.
Find anempty spot among the orbsand stand there until they disappear.
Wisteria won’t relent while you attack the prison, avoid her attacks and heal if you ever drop below 50 percent health. Doing so will help you avoid sudden hits that’ll kill you since she hasno moves that drop you below 50 percent.
