There are different factions and individuals that are trying to make a name for themselves inRobloxArcane Odyssey. These include the Grand Navy, Pirates, Merchants, the Assassin Syndicate, and Ravenna ships. Bounty hunting is one of the best ways to make yourself famous in the game.

This mechanic is not as helpful during the early game, but it can give you a ton of fame or bounty with Galleons when you’re at a higher level. You can also make a rival during this, and this increases the chance of getting rare drops while fighting the rival.
How To Get A Bounty Contract
A bunch of small and large islands are scattered across the sea of Arcane Odyssey, and you can find ports on most of these islands.If you go around these ports, you’ll be able to see a board with a bunch of posters as shown in the picture above. This board will have a Mysterious Stranger near them sometimes as well.
There’ll be eight posters on each board, and they’ll belong to a bounty on a certain character.The lowest level character will be on the bottom right while the highest level will be on the top left. These posters can include a bounty on both NPCs and other players, but there’s a difference:
Once you claim a Bounty Poster,it stays in your inventory even if you’re defeated or if you reset your character. Though the poster will go away if you change servers or leave the game altogether.
attempt to select a bounty for an enemy that is lower level than you, and you can then start hunting for them.
How To Hunt The Bounty Target
Once you have the bounty poster, you can head over to the mentioned island.A lot of high level targets are based in large islands like Ravenna, and it can be very difficult to locate them. The first order of business is to sail to the island and run around until you find the enemy.
As soon as you get close to the target,they’ll say a dialogue that’ll appear on your screen, which can be used to identify them even if you don’t see them. After acquiring the location of your target, the next step is to defeat them. Use all your power to defeat this target as fast as possible, and you’ll get the bounty.
Thefame or bounty you get is much lower than the amount mentioned on the poster. After defeating the target, they will go to prison for ten minutes, and you can hunt them again once the cooldown is finished.
When you defeat the same target three times, they’ll become your rival. Whenever you start a bounty quest for your rival,there’ll be a special message on your screen saying that the rumors about a notorious criminal have started circling. Another message will pop up after defeating them.
It’ll become harder to defeat the same enemy over and over again, but the loot will also get better. This is one of the best methods toget rare and exotic Treasure Charts, which can give you high-tier loot.Though this also increases the risk of other players interrupting the battle and taking away the reward.
How To Get Fame Or Bounty In Arcane Odyssey
You’ll visit the Redwake Harbor when you start playing the gameand completing the different quests will slowly start building your Fame. It’s quite easy to build up a lot of fame just by following the main story, but there are other ways to increase your fame or bounty quicker as well:
Apart from making you a target for the bounty hunters on the server,you can also recruit some Quartermasters if you have a high enough bounty or fame.
How To Reset Your Fame
As mentioned above, you’ll increase your fame quite easily by following the main story.Though it limits you in a lot of aspects since you can’t attack Merchant, Ravenna, or Grand Navy ships. Attacking them will instantly decrease your fame while you won’t even be able to claim loot from the Grand Navy ships as long as you have fame.
This might lead to a scenario where you’d want to go back to a neutral rating and start building up your bounty.The best way to do this is by plundering the personal storage chests around the map. You can find a ton of these storage chests on Redwake Harbor and Shell Island. They’ll reset a few minutes after you claim them.
Your fame willdecrease by 1,000 if you have over a thousand fame, but it’ll only decrease by 100 otherwise. Apart from giving you decent loot, this method will get rid of all your fame in no time.
Other than that,you can also head over to Silverhold and talk to Scott Baldwin to reset your fame for some Galleons.
How To Reset Your Bounty
If you’ve had a bounty for quite some time, you’ll learn the risks you have to take.Your Notoriety will constantly build up as you plunder ships, defeat enemies, or steal Cargo. The Grand Navy will send ships to hunt you down, and they’ll have a bunch of tanky Marines. Moreover, other players can also take your bounty and fight you.
Thankfully, there’s a much easier way to reset your bounty in Arcane Odyssey.Head over to the Whitesummit island right beside The Stepstones, as shown above. You’ll see the main entrance of this island to the east, and the NPCs here will attack you if you have fame. You will be allowed to enter if you have a bounty.
Enter the island through the main door and turn left to see an Assassin Syndicate guard on a platform above.Jump over to the guard and enter the door beside them. You’ll find the Assassin Syndicate recruit standing behind a table inside. If you’re not in a clan, you can simply talk to this person and join the Assassin Syndicate.
This will reset your bounty, and you can leave the clan right after.Though you’ll get attacked by the Criminals of the island as you go back out. Moreover, you can also pay the recruit some Galleons to clear your bounty if you don’t want to enter the clan. Once you’re back to neutral, you can start building up your fame again.
