The Venomglider is a subspecies Kemono of the Spineglider inWild Hearts. This Kemono has a massive inflatable tail that it uses to spray poison at its enemies or create rock fixtures that it jumps on top of to survey the battlefield.

Venomglider - Strengths And Weaknesses
The Venomglider is aWater attributeKemono, and isweakest to Wood and Fireattribute attacks. Although its softest part is its body, itdoesn’t take much damage on any of its body parts, with its highest part softness rating being only three stars.
Similarly, all ailments, with the exception of Poison, havedecent effectiveness, but the Venomgliderisn’t particularly weak to any of them. It takes the most damage from Pummel-type weapons, like the Mauler, but Slash-type weapons will be able tocut off its tail, making the fight easier overall.

Best Equipment To Fight Venomglider
Before you fight the Venomglider, you’ll want to prepare your equipment accordingly. An armor set withhigh defenseand a skill or two that canprotect against Poisonare the ideal. To that end, theWayward BrigandorGreat Juniperarmor sets are good options, with theCut-Throat pantsbeing a good subsititute due to its33 percent Poison Recoveryskill.
Akebia Fruitis a good choice for lessening the effectiveness of Poison.

AWood or Fire attribute weaponwill deal good damage to the Venomglider, but if you have aphysical weapon with higher base damage, use that one instead. The Venomglider doesn’t take a whole lot of extra damage from elements, so a the higher the base physical stat, the better.
Be sure to bring theSpring and Glider Karakurito this fight. By combiningthree Springs, you may conjure thePounder Fusion Karakuri, which is great forknocking the Venomglider off its perches. Gliders can be stacked on each other to create theHealing Mist Karakuri, which will help restore health lost to Poison damage.

Venomglider - Fight Breakdown And Moves
The Venomglider has many similar attacks as the Spineglider, with a few new additions, like its ability to controlpoison. The Kemono canfling poison rockson you that inflict the ailment, or createpuddles of poisonon the ground that damage you if you walk over them.
The Venomglider’s main attack is afloating poison pellet barragethat it will fire twice, followed by either atail spinorforward charge. The Venomglider’stail spin attackis one of its most dangerous, rapidly spinning its tail around,spreading poison and dealing high damage. However, once you learn the timing of this attack, you candodge into the Kemonoto avoid it almost every time, creating a nice opening to counterattack.

The Venomglider’s signature move is its ability tospray poison like a hose from its tail, dealing damage while alsoforming a rock structure. Then, the Kemono will jump onto this structure, gaining a vantage point to eithershoot off poison rocksfrom orjump down into a wide tail spinor atail slam. In any case, this move can becountered by quickly creating a Pounder Karakuri, which will activate on the structure, destroying it and knocking the Venomglider off. When the Venomglider makes a rock,use a Pounder to gain an attack opening.
Additionally, if you are able tochop off the Venomglider’s tail, this fight will be much easier, drastically limiting the number of attacks the Kemono can perform, and making the ones it can hurt less.Repeatedly target the Venomglider’s tail with Slash-type weaponsto accomplish this and gain a huge advantage.

After the Venomglider has taken enough damage, it willenrage, blasting the area inpoison spikesand increasing the size of its tail. While enraged, the Venomglider’s attacks will be more dangerous, and it will alsogain a few new ones.
Now, when the Venomglider swings its tail,more poison will be released with each attack. Itstail whirlwind spin attack will be especially strong, dealingdamage over a larger area, making it a bit harder to dodge.
Watch out for the Venomglider’s newdouble tail slam, in which it attacks the area behind it with its enlarged tail twice in a row. If you are hit by both of these attacks, you will take a ton of damage and be poisoned. Use yourSpring Karakurito move out of the way when the Venomglider performs this attack, but prepare tomove in for a counter when its done.
Finally, while enraged, the Venomglider canincrease the size of its tail even further, enlarging it so that it canbounce around on itlike a water balloon. After bouncing toward you, the Venomglider willjump high into the airbeforeslamming its massive tail down, dealing high damage. Although this attack is dangerous, by dodging it just right, either by rolling or using a Spring Karakuri, you may put yourself in position toattack the Kemono during its recovery period.
