Though we definitely use this party quite a lot, we wound up bringingAkihiko, Aigis, and Yukariinto this battle.

Since the only real damage you’re able to inflict onto Reckoning Dice is withphysical attacks, you’ll find yourself relying onAkihikoquite a lot for this.

He’ll have learnedFist MasteratLv. 50to double the effectiveness of his strikes, and pairing that withMarakundato lower Reckoning Dice’s defense can deal some meaningful damage.

Aigisis helpful not only for her bevy ofphysical attacks, but she’s also invaluable for wearing out the duration of Reckoning Dice’sTetrakarn.

Tetrakarn repels physical damage, but Aigis deals pierce damage, to which she is also resistant.

Her pierce attackswill bounce back off Reckoning Dice, but theywill hurt her very minimallyin the process. She’s able to use this exploit tobreak down Reckoning Dice’s Tetrakarnwithout hurting someone on the team.

Additionally,Marakukajais critical for this battle, as itboosts your team’s defense. With almighty damage all but impossible to block, that stat boost will come in handy.

Finally, it’s a role she often plays, butYukariis best as thehealerin this setup. Additionally, her strength stat is low, meaning she won’t dotoomuch damage to herself if she’s caught up in a rage and uses her physical attack.

You’ll likely be takingconsiderabledamage in this fight, so keeping Yukari ready withMediaramaandRecarmis all but necessary.

Since Reckoning Dice is a Lv. 62 guardian, we suggest beingbetween Lvs. 60-65for this battle.

We’ve made this level recommendation throughout the Harabah block for the most part, but with five guardian battles and no limit to how far through Harabah you may climb until you hit the barrier, it’s possible you may do several of these fights on the same night.

Unless you have a Persona that knows theBreak skillfor the element it uses, you’ll be focused onyour strongest physical attackersfor this battle.

Anything dealingheavy damagewill be effective here, and you’ll finally be of the right level to begin fusing Personas that have them.

Siegfriedis arguably the best choice for this battle. Not only does itblock slash, eliminating damage from repelled attacks and Reckoning Dice’s standard attack, but itsskillsare bar-none for physical damage.

BetweenPower Chargeto make it strongest,Arms Masterto half the HP cost of using its catalog of powerful slash attacks, andPower Chargeto double the damage its next physical attack inflicts, Siegfried is essential to the fight.

However, Siegfried is anUltimate Persona. You’ll need to have maxedthe Strength social linkwith either Yuko or Koromaru to fuse it.

Reckoning Dice Battle Strategy

The real problem you and the team will face during the battle with the Reckoning Dice guardian ishurting themselves with their own physical attacks while Tetrakarn is active.

Since the only damage you can do to Reckoning Dice is with physical attacks,it casts Tetrakarn fairly oftenduring the fight.

This is whereAigisis an absolutely invaluable teammate, as everyone else can be damaged normally by their own physical attack except for her.

When Tetrakarn goes up, immediatelyhave Aigis rush the Reckoning Diceto deal with it before it can hurt anyone else on the team. After it’s been broken by her pierce attack, Reckoning Dice is once again left open to physical damage.

A problem you may encounter here, though, is with Reckoning Dice’sProvokeskill that stands a good shot at enraging one of your teammates. Especially considering that Reckoning Dice also has the passive skill,Rage Boost, you’re almost certainly going to be afflicted with it throughout the battle.

While afflicted withrage, your teammates areonly able to use their standard physical attacksinstead of anything to do with their Personas and skills.

Depending on when this rage takes place, if Reckoning Dice currently has Tetrakarn erected, your teammates may be inrealtrouble.

Physical attacks bounce backat your teammates while Tetrakarn is active, so unless they resist or repel their own physical damage type, that damage will instead be directed right back to them.

Not only does rage coax your teammates into focusing on physical offense, it alsolowers their defense. Since Reckoning Dice already has the upper hand with its twoalmighty movesthat are all but impossible to block against, anyone afflicted with rage is in danger from almighty damage.

If anyone is actively afflicted with rage, haveAkihiko keep up a Marakundato make sure Reckoning Dice takes as much damage from those stray strikes as possible.

Thankfully, you’ll likely have been findingDis-Rageinside chests throughout Tartarus. Be sure to make liberal use of them to handle rage before your party members injure or possibly even kill themselves on accident this way.

The fight happens late enough in the game that your Fool social link with the SEES Team will have ranked up to the point that theymay withstand an otherwise-fatal attack with one HP remaining.

you’re able to’t count on this happening, though, socome ready to revive fallen teammates.

With all of this considered, you’llneed to heal quite a lotduring this battle.Keep Yukari on healing and support, as you’ll expend a lot of HP during the battle. She’s also extremely helpful for when teammates fall, as she learnsRecarmas early asLv. 28.

Outside Tetrakarn and rage, the fight is fairly straightforward.Lay into Reckoning Dice with your strongest physical attacksand stay on top ofcuring rage if Tetrakarn is active, the fight will be over before you know it.
