Intrepid Knight Battle Setup

The Intrepid Knight guardian can be found on59Fofthe Arqa blockof Tartarus.

Withwind attacksa focal point of Intrepid Knight’s repertoire for this battle, you’ll probably want toleave Junpei out of this fight, lest he become an easy target for One More attacks.

You definitely want a healer in your party, but here,both Mitsuru and Yukari are great choices- not only for their healing skills, but for their offensive moves and status ailments.

Yukari learns Recarm at Lv. 28, so it may be a good idea to get here there before the battle begins.

Intrepid Knight will likely attempt to one-shot kill someone in your party with itsHamaskill, so being able tohave Yukari use Recarm to revive someone from your party without using an itemwill likely come in handy.

Mitsuru is a good choice not only for her healing skills, but because she’ll know two helpful moves by Lv. 27.Though Intrepid Knight resists charm, it’s not immune, soMarin Karinmay work to sway the sub-boss for a few turns.

Additionally, Mitsuru learnsDiaramaat Lv. 25, andSpirit Drainat Lv. 27 to replenish the SP she’s expending, by stealing it from your enemies.

With Intrepid Knight entering the battle at Lv. 26, we’d recommend you be aroundLv. 28for the easiest time. Not only will you have a smoother battle, but the party members we recommended above will know helpful moves around these levels as well.

As for your Persona stock, focus onPersonas resistant to wind and light. Garu and Hama skills are the bread and butter of Intrepid Knight’s repertoire of offensive moves, so don’t give it a weak spot to hit.

Narcissusis a great choice for this battle, due not only to her wind resistance, but her charm-boosted Marin Karin attack.

You’ll be focusing onfire, ice, and electric attacks to deal damage, so grab someone with offensive skills in these elements if needed as well.

How To Take Down Intrepid Knight

Without an elemental weakness to exploit in this fight, you’ll need toplay defensivelyin order to defeat Intrepid Knight in P3P.

Being of an appropriate level is critical for this battle, as it may be the first time you’re up against an enemy with a-dyne skill, whichdeals heavy damage.

While it may be tempting to try to reflect that heavy damage,Intrepid Knight drains wind, soreflecting Garudyneback at it will onlyheal it. Save your Magic Mirrors for another battle!

Thankfully, while it doesresistailments like charm and panic,you can still afflict statuses.

Mitsuru’sMarin Karinand Yukari inflicting (limited) pierce damage with aBow of Affectioncan both afflictcharm, and there are several moves in your Persona stock by now that can inflictpanic.

A foe who’scharmedwilllikely not attackon their next turn, and may evenheal someone in your party.

A foe who’spanicked, on the other hand, mayskip their turnin battle altogether.

Try tokeep Yukari in good healththroughout the fight, as her Recarm skill may be invaluable to you in this battle.

Finally, though it seems counterintuitive to what the function is for, it may be best toavoid All-Out Attacks. Not only does Intrepid Knight resist physical damage, butif it’s been afflicted with an ailment, it may actually be a help to you to make it waste a turn getting back up.

Past all of this, your main goal is simply toinflict fire, ice, and wind damageto whittle down Intrepid Knight’s HP until it finally goes down.
