Although not an official Stable quest inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, “Outsing the Giants” is a quest that leads you to three key locations you’ll want to revisit for materials - especially the kind your best friends, the Dondons, will want to nibble on. Taking you to threeLuminous Stonemining locations, you’ll have to face the big, the terrible, and the ugly.

Your reward for these quests isn’t much of a gift, but you’ll want these giants gone if you want the resources they’re keeping to themselves. So make sure you have a nice stash of arrows before you go giant-hunting.
Calora Lake: Eldest Hinox Brother
Calora Lake is thefarthest east lakein the trio of lakes just north and above Lake Floria. The giant at this lake is thehardest of the three brothers, aBlack Hinox, and he’ll be the oneyou’ll likelywant to get out of the way first.
You can reach this lake easily bygliding from the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower(especially if you have the Glide Suit), and Calora Lake is a great location to glide from for the other two locations on your monster-hunting quest.

As you glide in,the caveyou will be looking forhas a large opening in the northern wall.Enter and notice thelit torchesguiding yourentrance to a second cavernous pathleading downward.
Drop in and pull out your bowas soon as you fall into the bottom chamber, and you can spy theHinox sleeping on the far side of the room.Take this opportunity tolet fly a few shots.

If you’re skilled enough, you might be able tostrike the Hinox’s eyeas it opens, meaning the Hinox will be stunned as you enter the cave.
Run up to the Hinox and fight as you normally would, but you’ll need tonote two things:

Defeat the Hinoxanduse Ascendto leave the cave.
In the first entry room, on your way out, you canshoot the barrels lining a wall of breakable rockswith a fire-infused arrow. This will reveala Bubbulfrog on the other side.
Rodai Lake: Youngest Hinox Brother
At the next lake, headingwest from Calora, you’ll find anotherlake entrance on the waterfront, but the entrance of this one leads to along tunnel down into complete darkness.
Fall downthis tunnel (don’t worry about theBrightbloom Seedsyet), and you’llland in a pool of water.Swim forward to find a cave of complete darkness you’ll need tolight by throwing brightbloom seeds, of which you may find a plethora along the cave walls here.

Stick to the far left wall and continue forwardwhile throwing brightbloom seeds until you reach a bend in the path that dead-ends into aledge overlooking a large roomlit by Luminous Stone veins.
Don’t enter yetandthrow a brightbloom seedover the edge.
Glide over to the central pillarandsneak aroundon either side to spy the Hinox resting on the ground.
As you did with the Eldest Brother, jump off the pillar and draw your bowto fire arrows while you fall to the ground.

Thankfully, the Youngest Brother is astandard Red Hinox, and you’ll be able to make quick work of him at only a fraction of the trouble the Eldest gave you.Fire a few arrows into his eyesand deal with him quickly tomove on via Ascendingout of the cave.
Corta Lake: Middle Hinox Brother
The cave of the Middle Brother is a little trickier to find than the others. Located on thefar western side of the waterandjust before the waterfallemptying into the Corta Lake from above, this cave isnestled into the rockface.
Enter and find a hole with an updraftblowing from below. you may ignore it temporarily torun past itand gain thefree Strong-Long-Stick Stickwith an Attack bonus in the chest at the end of the corridor and mine the ore veins surrounding the chest.

Drop into the hole with the updraftto enter a new room where you may see several piles of breakable rocks. Run past them tothe last one at the very end of the cavernand to your right.
Destroy itwith a bomb arrow, a boulder-breaking weapon, or Yonobo’s special ability to reveal a second updraft.

Ride this updraftinto a new chamber with the Middle Hinox Brother.
Draw your bowand fire several arrows at thisBlue Hinoxwhile he sleeps. Once he’s up, you canfocus on fighting him normallybut must beware of thesingle leg braceron his right leg (your left).

Once the Middle Hinox Brother is defeated, you canteleport back to Lakefront StableviaJoju-u-u Shrineon the cliffside behind it or glide across Lake Floria.
Speak with Kampo, and you’ll be givenMightyFried Bananasfor your troubles. Any leftover Luminous Stones you received from this endeavor can be given to the nearby Dondon’s on the western side of Lake Floria.
