Its sporadic movements and constant attacks can leave anyone guessing when the best opportunity to strike will be. Sometimes, all you need is a plan and some guidance. Here are some tips and tricks for tackling it.
Where To Find The Enslaved Grisha
The Enslaved Grisha is only themid-boss of the Crypt of Martyrs. However, that does not mean it’s an easy one. To get there, you need toget through the Abandoned Chamber.
The path is pretty linear until youfind a roomwith coffins and many exits. The third exit is the way forward.

Two of the exits are there for upgrades. You can go behind the coffin on the right and take the left path for these.
A few more linear hallways will lead you toa path that splits. The rightwill take youto the other half of the Abandoned Chamber, just in case you want to search for more loot and upgrades.Going left will take you to the boss’s room.

How To Defeat The Enslaved Grisha
The Enslaved Grisha is similar to others you face, but this one has a special move. It canslam the ground and make icicles fall from the ceiling, which means you have to be constantly moving.
There are a few more tricks you should be aware of. There is ahead slam attack where the Grisha will charge at you. For this, keep your distance.Wait until the Grisha pauses to lay on your melee attacks.

The Grisha willhead slam twice, so get ready to attack once the second one is finished.Give it some space afterwardin order to not get clipped by a swing.
Let the Grisha make the first move and dodge out of the way right before it can land a hit. The most common move the Grisha has isswinging its sharp arms at you two times and then pausing. This is your chance tostrike a few times.
If you have aparry equipped, the best time to use it is on the very first attack the Grisha swings at you.
Depending on your weapon, you might only be able to get one shot in before it turns toward you and attacks again.
Weapons that take longer to swing will land in this category.Smaller weapons will allow for more hits, but you need to get closer to the Grisha.
If you’re getting close with smaller weapons, ensure to keep an eye on the boss. Once it starts to turn toward you,it’s time to dodge and get some distance. Rinse and repeat until the monster is defeated.
Occasionally, the Grishawill charge at you and lunge with its two weapons. It will be tempting to hit it with all you have right then and there, butbe stingy with your attacks.
The Grishawill rip its arms back out of the ground, creating a sort of shock wave that will hurt you. It will take some patience because of all the dodging, but that is the true test of this boss.
Ideal Weaponry
Interestingly enough,long-range, heavier weapons are a tad easier to use for this boss. Sinceit has such a small cooldown after it attacks, long-ranged weaponshelp to sneak a couple of strikes in between rounds of dodging. Here is a quick table of weapons to recommend for this fight.
Not Recommended
Axatana Hammer and Chisel
If you have anyquenching acidsavailable, upgrade your weapon of choice before entering the temple.
Using ranged weapons, however, means that you might only get a few good hits before you need to start dodging again. The best way to defeat this boss is to not panic and trust your gut when it comes to landing hits. Dodge the moment you think you need to, not a second later.
