The fight takes place in the same arena you fought Zhang Liang and it remains exactly the same this time around. The Blindfolded Boy has two states, one where he will flinch upon being hit and another where he will not be interrupted at all by your attacks. He uses all magic phases, but the fight is straightforward.
Blindfolded Boy Boss Strategy
As soon as the fight begins, run over to the Blindfolded Boyas fast as you may. Nine times out of ten, he willbegin the fight by casting a spellthat will cause icicles to fall randomly from the sky.
While he casts this,he will be vulnerable for a good few seconds. He will be levitating a bit while the animation plays out, but you should use this opportunity toattack aggressively and get a combo going. You will have enough time for a full set and finish it with a charged Spirit attack.

He will use the ice attack several times throughout the fight.
You shouldalways exploit this by rushing forwards and attackinghim if you see him levitating on the spot.

After casting the spell, he will teleport around and he might be using his sword to strike at you. The glow from his sword seems to be purely cosmetic since you canblock his attacks as normalwithout taking any chip damage from magic. You should utilise a mixture ofblocking and deflection in this fightto keep your Spirit healthy and around the middle of the bar.
One of his trickier attacks to deal with is when he will fly into the air, summoning small swords as platformsthat he fires at you as he dances through the sky from one to another. He will do this three times, and the final attack will vary. He could send out more swords, or he will perform a spin attack towards you.
You should block the summoned daggers because deflecting them is too much hassle.
If he spins towards you attacking, you must remember that thisspinning attack hits you twice.
It might look like he will only hit once, so remember todeflect twice when he does this.
Another attack you want toexploit is his earth spell.Similarly to his ice attack from the start, he will raise into the air and use an Earth AoE spell.
During his animation, he will fly into the sky briefly while he charges, you shouldstay close to him while he does thisbecause you can get tons of free damage. When the attack comes out on your position, deflect or block it.
Blindfolded Boy’s Glowing Aura
The Blindfolded Boy will begin the fight witha glowing aura around him. While he is in this state,he will be invincible to being interruptedby any attack, so you will not be able to stagger him and create an opening.
After you inflict your first stance break on him, he will betemporarily vulnerable. He will no longer be glowing, andhe will be interrupted by any of your attacks.
The most important thing to know about this part of the fight is thatthe Blindfolded Boy will now deflect your attacks.
While he is being staggered by your attacks, he willparry your strike on your third hitevery time. He will repeat this process for as long as he’s being interrupted by attacks to stop himself from being stun-locked.
After he deflects one of your attacks,he will prepare a counter and hold it for a second, so don’t deflect immediately or you might miss the timing.
You should do most of yourdamage to him while he is in this weakened statebecause it won’t last very long. Be aggressive and stay close, to hurt him as much as you may.
Blindfolded Boy Critical Strikes
When he powers himself up again, he will be even stronger and useseveral Critical Strikesto try and overwhelm you. He has a grab attack, a charging attack, a triple slash, and another two where he creates copies of himself.
You should, however, be vigilant for the Critical Strikes that have him create copies of himself.
This attack has two variants, both of which are aggressive and deadly.
The first version of this critical has the copies spin around and attack a wide area. You want to back away while this happensas they only travel a limited range. However, when the copies disappear, the real Blindfolded Boy will teleport to your location and whack you with the Critical Strike he’s charged up.
The second version has him summon copies who attack again, but instead of swinging at you, he will generate ahuge ball of red demonic qito fire at you.
Again, whenever you see his copies spawn, you shouldtry and get away from them due to their limited range. Then if he uses the orb, you will be better suited to deflect it back at him.
As the fight goes on, he will change up his magical attacks.
He will imbue his weapon with lightning and throw more electrical spells at you.
The best way to tackle his magical spells is by running at him as fast as you can. They generallyhave a long casting animationand you can deal so much damage to him while he readies the spell. If you’re too far away, deflecting them will be easyenough and negate any damage from them.
The fight plays out in a straightforward way and you’ll have chipped him down in no time.Keep your HP topped up and use Dragon Cure Powderfor its heal-over-time effect.
You can’t summon NPC Followers in this fight, but we got through him at level 120, which is way over-levelled for the fight. We used aDire Tiger+9 straight sabreand it was perfect for the fight.
With him beaten, he is the final boss of the main story in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty dealt with. Congratulations! You unlock a brand-new difficulty for your efforts that lets you play through older chapters with harder enemies and better loot.
