How To Defeat Ratnor Rodentson
Ratnor Rodentson shares many similarities with other bosses, but the thing that makes him a tougher enemy is the amount of damage he deals. On your first visit to the boss, you will not expect him to take out almost half of your health bar through any of his attacks. However, like every other boss, Ratnor is also easy once you understand his moveset and react accordingly.
Ratnor only has oneWhite Auraattack, which is the Axe Throw and Recall.Whenever you see the White Aura, raise your shield to block the Axe. The majority of the time, Ratnor will throw his Axe and dive toward you. After that, he will recall his Axe back. In this situation, you will have to block first, then roll through his dive attack and finally block the Axe recall. The dive is easy to spot as the boss will have aRed Circleabove his head before the attack.

When you see a Red Circle above the boss, and he starts to raise his Axe to the sky, head in towards him. This is the best moment to attack the boss consecutively. Ratnor will usually strike lightning thrice, and it is only the third strike that you need to watch out for because he will cast it on himself. So get multiple attacks in, and when you see the lightning about to hit the area around, then dash away.
The boss has aRed Auraattack where he jumps back and performs aLightning Blastin front of him.Dashing through to get on his backside can put you out of harm’s way. Ratnor can also do multipleRed Auraattacks where he does overhead axe swings in succession.

Only dash through these swings and do not attack in between, as you can get him by them.
Once you take out 50 percent of the boss' health,he will jump back and summon two Rats to help him in the fight. The Rats are weak on their own; however, the boss can use them as a distraction.

Ratnor has a habit of summoning Rats and throwing his Axe and recalling it while you deal with the Rats. If he usesLightning Blastafter summoning the Rats, he will deal damage to them and take them out, making it easier for you to focus on the boss.
In the last phase of the fight, Ratnor will go down andstart limpingon the ground while performing the dive attacks. A few well-timed dodges and counterattacks will put an end to this beauty of a boss fight.
