Once you defeat this boss, you’ll lock your save file intoNew Game Plus. That means the next time you load it, you’ll start at the beginning and won’t have access to the Spirit Realm, so do everything you want there before you fight the boss.
Preparing To Fight Nonota
If you decide to fight Nonota, you’ll need to prepare before you start, so you won’t have to redo the fight.
How To Use It
Health Regeneration
You’ll restore a set amount of health. The curse value ones will heal50%of your health.
Hold off on healing until youdrop below 50%health. Otherwise, you’ll waste the item. If you wait too long, you risk getting hit and losing the battle.
Mana Regeneration
You’ll restore a certain amount of mana. The curse value items will restore50% of your mana.
Depending on how the battle plays out, you may only need to use one. You may not even need to use it if you utilizedodges and Mana Absorption, though it’s nice to have a spare on hand in case you need it.
Stamina Regeneration
You can restore your stamina.
If you have a high enough Stamina level, you won’t have to worry about it during the fight. On the other hand, it can be helpful if you runlow on Staminasince Nonota can send out multiple attacks in a row.
Defense Boost
You can temporarily increase your defense, helping you survive longer.
Hold off on using anydefense boostsuntil the second form. Doing so will help minimize the damage you take without wasting the items when Nonota doesn’t deal as much damage.
You shouldavoid AOE regenerationduring this fight. Since you’ll need to constantly move to avoid Nonota’s attacks, such an item will most likely go to waste.
Since you’re near the end of the game,you won’t need to worry about whether you use items with curse values. You won’t run into any issues if you spend your soul essence before using them.
Leveling Up
Since you’ll want to make the fight easier by leveling up, you should utilize a few important stats to make it easier for you.
To boost your levels for this fight, you can farm for soul essence at theAbyss - Crossroadsstatue. When you arrive here, enter theleft teleporter. You’ll appear in an area similar to the Underground Cave. Go through this area, and make your way to the lower floor. You can then fight enemies throughout the place and teleport back to the Statue.
You can easily get nearly 1,000 soul essence from doing this, so try it out and use it to boost your HP and the other stats you want to improve.
Nonota’s First Form
As you start the first form, you’ll want to watch for the following moves.
Nonota’s Second Form
In this form, she starts to use other attacks inspired by previous bosses, so you can use that experience to know how to tackle the fight. For example, she’ll launch thefire bear from Monicaat you or use the punching combo from Tania. As long as you remember those moves, they’ll be easy to dodge. However, you should also note some of the unique attacks.

Why It Works
Spellcasting
For this battle, you’ll want to utilize yourcharged fire spellto land hits on Nonota.
While a charged ice spell could work, it doesn’t have the best tracking. SinceNonota moves around a lot, especially in her second form, launching a fireball at the right time might work better. You can also usestandard thunderto keep it simple and avoid losing your charge. Ice and arcane won’t deal enough damage, while fire is too short-range.
Keep Your Distance
You’ll want to stand far away as you fight Nonota.
She mostly uses ranged attacks, so keep your distance to remain safe and avoid damage. If you get close, she may try to move out of the way or use melee moves.
Timing Your Dodges
Ensure youdodge through the attacksyou recognize while continuously avoiding the new ones.
Keep yourStamina upwhen possible to help you avoid multiple attacks in a row.
Item Use
