Recommended Level And Personas
Jotun of Grief is a Lv. 73 shadow, so our previous recommendation for the Fierce Cyclops battle to reach betweenLv. 70-75before the fight still stands.
As for your MC’s Personas, you’ll definitely need someoneimmune to rage, as rage makes each teammateattack twice per turn using physical damage.

And with your MC the only one in the above-mentioned party setup who doesn’t default to pierce damage for physical attacks, you’ll need tocure rage on your MC immediatelyif they’re not able to nullify it.

Be careful, though, of Uriel’sHigh Counter, which has a50 percent chance to reflect physical attacks. You’ll be fine if it’s Primal Force, but a defaultstrike attackfrom Jotun of Grief that gets reflected willheal the shadow.

Jotun Of Grief Battle Strategy
One of the biggest things to keep in mind during the guardian fight with Jotun of Grief in P3P is that, past it totally nullifying light and dark magic,Jotun of Grief absorbs any attacks except pierce and almighty, so it will absolutely exploit a party that isn’t prepared to deal with its specific affinities table.
It tries to useInfuriateto take advantage of any teammates who do physical damage other than pierce, asrage makes each teammate attack twice per turn with their standard physical attacks.
Anyone other than the party setup we listed above can absolutely be exploited through this, asany physical damage other than pierce heals Jotun of Grief.
With the right team setup, though, you canallow anyone but your MC to remain enraged. Aigis, Yukari, and Ken all dopierce damageas their physical attacks, and this physical damage is the only one actually able to hurt Jotun of Grief.
Throughout the fight, continue usingpierce attacksas your primary offense.
This is where Yukari’sWind Breakskill comes in - when it’s used, both she and the main character can usewind magiceffectively forthree turns, giving you another element to use against Jotun of Grief.
The fight proceeds in this way until Jotun of Grief is on the ropes, at which point it will stop trying to enrage the team and focus on usingMind Chargefollowed immediately byMegidolaonto try its best to wipe the team right at the end.
You’ll need to pay sharp attention tohealing the teamduring this stage, asalmighty damage cannot be blocked.
Whenever this attack pattern happens, have yourhealersjump into action tokeep the team in good shapeas you take out the last of Jotun of Grief’s HP to finish the fight.
Upon completion of this battle, theJudgment social linkwith your Nyx Annihilation Team reachesRank 9, which thencompletes automaticallyupon reaching theblockade at 254F.
