Although his appearance and name will change, there are no mechanical differences between Cheshire and Charles.

There arefive enemy fightsyou must clear under normal conditions (no odd tricks or gimmicks) - two of which are in Tir Na Nogs and three in the overworld - which will give you a full Vitality Flower as a reward for clearing. These battles are spread out overthree locations:

After finishing the overworld fight in Morgana’s Home, take the stairs to the right of the Vitality Flower chestdown to the illusion field that leads to the final boss fight.

Affirmer Of Phenomena

The Affirmer of Phenomena is a difficult fight that isn’t forgiving due to your inability to heal, and forces you to face bosses you defeated along Cereza’s journey:

Affirmer of Phenomena has several decent long-range and melee options that he uses randomly, and he appears tofavor attacks against Jeanneover Cheshire. As a result, you’ll need tokeep your guard upwith Jeanne the whole time.

Affirmer Of Phenomena Immutable Destiny Boss Intro Card

For this fight, using Cheshire’s special attacks and Bind Combos are discouraged.Dodging (for both Charles/Cheshire and Jeanne) and neutral attacks are the better method for this fight.

When the Affirmer of Phenomenon prepares to summon another boss, there is a cutscene where the Affirmer will temporarily leave the arena to let you deal with the bosses he summons through a scroll.

Jeanne Thorn Binds Amadan Dubh During Secret Chapter Boss Fight

You aren’t able to fight these bosses when they’re first summoned. They are typically summonedin waves of three, then two, and then one. This does mean you’ll be contending with three Amadans, three Affinities, and three Jabberwocks at the beginning of their summonings.

Dodge the opening attacksfrom the hoards of bosses and then, once the boss is alone, take care of that boss in the manner you did when you first fought them. Thankfully, they have low health and can be dealt with swiftly.

Once the boss he’s summoned is defeated, theAffirmer will return to the arenawhere you’ll need to take him on again.

In the case of the Jabberwock, the Affirmer will be knocked into the arena forcefully, and you canuse Thorn Viceon him. Attacking while he’s bound, this should finish off the remainder of his health and end the fight.
