These Shrines are scattered in the surface and sky areas of the game, and you can get one heart or a bit of stamina bar for every four of them. Ijo-o is a Shrine that can be found in the Sky Islands, and here’s how you can reach and finish it.
How To Reach Ijo-o Shrine
To set on the journey to get to the Ijo-o Shrine, you’ll first have to find and unlock the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. This can be found in the northeastern section of the map, just above where you’ll find Rito Village. When you get into the tower, it’ll launch you up to the sky and you’ll see some sky islands above you on the map.
You can glide to any of these islands, but the safest bet is to go to the nearest onewhere you see a movable platform with a Balloon Zonai device on it. You can also go to the island just below it if you want to defeat the Construct enemy and get someZonai Charges. After defeating the enemy, simply climb the next island.

Get on the platform with the Balloon andhit it with your weapon to turn on the Flame Emitter inside it. This will take you higher up into the sky where you’ll see another island with the same structure. Keep going up until you’re higher than this island so that you’re able to glide to it easily and take the second Balloon.
It’s important to switch these platforms becausethey start blinking green and disappear if you take them too farfrom their original position.

Moreover, switching the platforms will also take you closer to the shrine andyou’ll have to spend less stamina gliding, which is important for early-game players. If you have some Rocket or Fan devices, you can attach them to go much faster. You’ll see the shrine when you’re going up using the second movable platform.
Follow the same procedure toget to the shrine and unlock it to activate the Teleport Point. You can still progress higher into the islands before entering the shrine if you want some free chests. You’ll see alaunching pad on the same island as the Shrinethat will take you to a higher area.

This area will contain a chest, and you’ll also see two pools below it.These pools can be frozen or have running water based on when you come here. If you’re here before finishing the main quest in Rito Village, you’re able to simply break the ice on both of these pools by jumping on them and claim the chests.
On the other hand, if you come here after finishing the quest, they’ll have running water. In that case, you’ll have touse the Ultrahand and Recall powers on the boards near the pool to drain the water and claim the chests.

you’re able to also find a Device Dispenser here that cangive you Rocket,Flame Emitter,Portable Pot, andTime Bomb.
How To Finish Ijo-o Shrine
The special thing about the Ijo-o shrine is that it’s a mix of both combat and puzzle-solving. If you want to get the Blessing Of Light here, you’ll have to make some space in your Shield inventory. Once you enter, defeat the construct to your right by shooting an arrow directly at its eye, which is the weak point.
It’s recommended to defeat the enemy before it can attack yousince you’ll need the full durability of its shield. The shield has a Flame Emitter fused to it, and it shoots out the flame when you press the button to use the shield. Use this flame to melt the icicle that’s blocking the next area.

In the next part, there’ll be another construct to your left and an icicle to your right.Defeat the construct first and then use the flame shield to melt the icicle. This will reveal a chest that will have five arrows for you. You’ll alsosee some constant flames blocking the next part of the Shrine.
To get past this, you’ll have to use the shield of the construct you just defeated. It has a stone slab attached to it, which can block the flames. If you ended up breaking its shield during the fight, there’s another stone slab behind where the enemy was found, and it can be attached to any of your shields.
The final area will be revealed after you get past the flames, and you’ll see a bunch of rockets here. There will also be a weak shield on a rack nearby. Defeat the third construct and attach one of the rockets to your existing shield or the one found in this area. Go near the front wall and hold out the shield.
The rocket will take you up and you can thenglide directly to the final monumentto get the Blessing Of Light.
