Robloxis famous for having difficult boss fights in action games, and Arcane Odyssey is no different. After learning the basic mechanics against the first couple of bosses, you’ll start having a hard time ever since you go against Lord Elius. This is also the point in the game where you start learning the secrets of the Bronze Sea.

Fort Talos will be a major hurdle between you and Ravenna since the process of getting to General Argos and beating him is difficult. You’ll also have to make use of different items you can get while exploring the map.
How To Reach Fort Talos
Soon after beating Lord Elius, the game will take you to Sailor’s Lodge where you’ll meet some mysterious people. The main quest will ask you to talk to three visitors in the tavern.The third person will be Captain Arwald, and he’ll tell you about a secret passage into the fort. Talk to this person and head back to Morden.
He’ll ask you to meet at the secret entrance of Fort Talos.You need to be careful while sailing to the fort since it’s heavily guarded and your ship will constantly get shot if you get in range. Stay far away from the fort until you get to the eastern side with a little bridge beside the main building.
Get to the point marked in the picture above to find Morden in a little cave.This stone cave will have an open hatch that leads to a passage filled with water. You have to jump inside and swim across, so ensure your level is high enough to get the required stamina for this process.
How To Reach General Argos
As you reach the other side of the water passage,Morden will ask you to defeat the Ravenna Guard on the other side so that he can be interrogated. All Ravenna Guards in this area will be level 17, so they should be easy pickings since you’ll easily be over level 80 by the time you get to this area.
The guard will give you a clue, and you’re able to talk to Morden after.He’ll ask you to use the hatches over doorways to be stealthy. Fort Talos is a big stealth mission, and the quest will instantly fail if you get detected by the guards, even though you can easily defeat them. Use the high jump to get to the hatch shown above after talking to Morden.
If you press the button to move in any direction twice, you’ll dash in that direction.Ensure that you don’t use this dash while you’re in the attic as the sound made by this alerts the guards. This will also fail the mission.
Once you enter the hatch, you’ll see an attic withstone platforms on each side with multiple wooden planks making a bridge across. The stone platforms will be blocked by pillars,so you have to maneuver using the wooden planks to get past the area. If you fall down, the guards will detect you and you’ll have to restart in the previous room.
Get past the attic and drop in the next hallway to fight two Ravenna Guards.Defeat them and get near the door with “Centurion Quarters” written on top of it. You’ll be able to listen in on the conversation going on inside the room, which will give you some information about cloaked figures in the fort.
After the cutscene, you have to go through another attic on your left.You’ll be able to see the blue marker past this attic. As you reach the hatch on the other side, you’ll see a note on it. Read the note and drop down to fight another Ravenna Guard.
Make sure youdon’t defeat the guard before reading the noteor you’ll have to wait for him to respawn to continue the quest.
Talk to the guard after defeating him, and you’ll have to navigate another attic afterward.Drop down in the central hallway with a mark on it and defeat two more guards. The quest will update after the fight ends, and you’ll see the blue marker on a little wooden door. Go inside and talk to Beringer.
When this dialogue ends,you can head out and go near General Argos' quarters. Head into the double wooden doors with “Conference Hall” written on top and go to the left edge. You’ll see a small square-shaped hole in the wall, as shown above. Jump and reach the hole to trigger another cutscene.
Argos will discover that you’re eavesdropping during this cutscene, and the boss fight will begin right after.
How To Beat General Argos
General Argos will have a total of 3,000 health and he’ll be using two different weapons.If any other player is trying to fight him, the HP will increase by 3,000 for every player. The boss doesn’t have the pillar combat like Lord Elius, but he’s great at AoE attacks and closing distance.
Here are a few attacks that you’ll commonly see from the boss:
If there’s a low-level player trying to attack this boss,it can significantly reduce your chances of victory since the boss' health will be doubledwhile the other player can’t play their part. Though there’s also a good side to having multiple players in a fight.
If one player dies during combat, the boss' health won’t regenerate automatically since there’ll be another player on the battlefield.This means that you’re able to eventually defeat the boss as far as one player always stays alive.
It’s quite hard to aim ranged attacks at this boss, so you need to hoard as many AoE attacks as you’re able to.This can include your magic, weapon, and fighting style. Constantly attack the boss with these attacks while trying to dodge the dashes. It’s quite hard to dodge his AoE attacks, so you’ll need a ton of health too.
You can also put a wall between yourself and the boss for an easier time.Bait the boss into the corner where the hole was there and quickly dash out of the double doors. After this, the boss will try to attack you through the wall, making it easier since you’ll not take damage from non-AoE attacks.
How To Escape Fort Talos
A cutscene will trigger after defeating General Argos, andyou’ll have to escape the fort quickly once this dialogue finishes. You’ll see a blue marker on the screen, but this is where you have to reach. The game doesn’t mark the exit you have to take, so you have to find the passage you came in through.
As you go around the fort,there’s only one straight hallway that doesn’t have the attic and wooden planks above it. Look for this hallway and you’ll see a dark spot on the wall. If you use your torch, you’ll be able to see the hole. Head through the passage once again to get out of Fort Talos.
