FollowingUndertale, everyone is anxiously waiting for the next Toby Fox game,Deltarune. However, it’s going through a long development process and is currently being released in chapters that are free to play. Chapter 2 is the current entry and continues the story of the human, monster, and Lightner trio of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei respectively.

As they journey into another Dark World to restore another fountain, they’ll deal with a cyber motif. With that, comes a whole new cast of bosses that could use a good beatdown. It’s all about keeping your team healthy as you do your best to win through non-violence.
Arcade Queen
After getting to know the main villain of the chapter, you’ll soon face off against Queen in a battle of skills. Queen will challenge you to an arcade game that she’ll spawn for you to play.It’s essentially a virtual boxing match with mechanics similar to the originalPunch-Out.
She uses the following attacks:
Fight Consequences
The only option is to fight, and the story will continue naturally.
All you need to do is watch for when Queen’s avatar glows in order to evade an incoming attack.Wait until she stops glowing, so you’re able to launch a counterattack with a volley of quick jabs.
Not a viable option.
Sweet Cap' n Cakes
Throughout the outskirts of the city, you’ll encounter three members of a DJ group that are all anthropomorphic versions of sound systems.Toward the end of the section, you’ll face all of them together as the group, Sweet Cap' n Cakes.
They use the following attacks:
Whenever the HP of one of the members drops to zero, they will berevived by the other members. It’s impossible to win the fight this way.
How To Spare
In order to win the battle, you need to get each of them to dance. At first, only Kris will be able to dance. Get Susie and Ralsei to dance with them, which will only target one member at a time.
Keep doing this until Susie and Ralsei unlock the ability to ACT as well. Use this to have each member dance with each one of the DJ members to finish the fight.
Rollercoaster Berdly
As you approach the city, the party will start riding on a rollercoaster. Queen will arrive and introduce a new henchman, Berdly. A student from school,Berdly is all about proving his intellectual superiority and will attack you on his own rollercoaster.
He uses the following attacks:
If Berdly’s HP is reduced to zero here,you will not have the option to free him from the wirein a later fight with Queen.
Each party member can use their own ACT function to bump Berdly until his MERCY fills up, and he gets derailed. Whether you do it as a team or one at a time, you’ll only be able to do about 18 percent of MERCY damage.
Berdly
Following the rollercoaster, Berdly will attack you once again. However, things will be a bit different since your party will only consist of Kris and Noelle.Noelle is similar to Ralsei in that she focuses on healing, but also has ice magic.
He usesall the same attacks as from the rollercoaster fightbut will gainextra support from the Werewireswhen they appear.
Berdly will use his attacks while the Werewires add to them withlaser shots that spread in bursts of three from the right side. They can alsodrop laser balls in narrow arcsfrom the top of the box.
Kris and Noelle need to ACT together or separately to feed Berdly’s ego and end the battle. After a few turns, two Werewires will join Berdly and will add to his attacks. Thankfully,they’ll both be TIRED so all you need is to build up some TP and then Noelle can remove them both with Sleep Mist.
Spamton
They will be a stretch during the adventure when Kris will be all on their own. While trying to clear the road to progress, you’ll be attacked by Spamton from a dumpster.He can be encountered later running a shop.
If Spamton’s HP is reduced to zero, he’ll run away, and you won’t be able to encounter him later in the game.
This is a somewhat tricky fight sinceACT won’t do anything and Spamton will have full control of the battle. In order to fill up his MERCY, you have to respond to all of his prompts correctly.The following correct responses are:
Rouxls And Thrash Machine
Rouxls first appears as a friend living in your Castle Town. Unfortunately, he attacks Kris and Ralsei with a vengeance while they’re exploring Queen’s Mansion.
He’ll be usinga pirate-ship-like weapon called the Thrash Machineto attack you.
No significant changes to the story or progression.
To win, you simply need to use Kris and Ralsei’s combined ACT to color houses on your turn.If you don’t have enough TP, claim a house with Kris and DEFEND with Ralsei. To ensure victory, color houses into Rouxls’s area as quickly as possible.
Queen And Wired Berdly
As you make your way through the Mansion, Kris and their friends will be attacked by Queen and Berdly hooked up to a wire.
This is one of the longest fights in the game so make sure you haveplenty of healing items.
To win, you need tofree Berdly from the wire by using ACT to strike it.
After a few turns,Queen will start putting up a barrier which will need to be destroyed with individual ACT moves or a team ACT.
Once the barrier is down,Berdly’s wire will become vulnerable again. If you ever end up with extra turns or need to heal,use one character’s ACT to launch at Berdly’s wire.
GIGA Queen
The showdown with Queen has your team and her fighting each other in giant mechs. After you make your choice,Queen will launch attacks at you, telegraphing with glowing and movement.
She uses allthe same attacks as the arcade fight,as well as the following new ones:
Toward the end of the fight, she’ll performa bunch of dive kicks alongside copies, before finishing it up withone final projectile that you need to punchonce it gets in range.
On your turn, you canuse ACT to power up your robotin various ways. Try tododge in the opposite direction of Queen’s attacksbefore countering with your own jabs.
Use ACT when you have enough TP todeliver a power ed-up strike and temporary speed boost to your jabsso that you may finish the fight fast.
