There are six different characters that you are able to play inRiver City Girls 2. The vibrant beat ‘em up adventure game has you exploring and fighting as you put punks into the dirt and turn enemies into friends, whilst you level up and unlock new abilities.

One of the playable characters is Marian, a white-haired brawler that you have to find and defeat before you are able to convince them to join your team and unlock them as a character. Marian is one of the most challenging bosses in the game, and will require you to bring your A-game for the fight.
Where To Find Marian
To begin, you need to head to thedowntown section of River City. When you first arrive, you will hear about Marian, who was aPeace Protector, and herrecent disappearance.
You will be directed to head towards theSubway Entranceusing the map. This is where Marian is, but we can’t access it yet as there is no power, and so we have toturn on thethree generatorsfirst.
Fixing The Power
To get the power running to theSubway Entranceagain, you need to go toJunk Cityand speak withWilliam. You will be able to find him towards thetop of the map. Upon speaking with him, he will give you the quest that allows you to fix the three generators.
The three areas where you will find the broken generators and the wrench to fix them are:
You do not need to fight the jerks to fix the generators.
Even though the generators are up, we cannot go to the Subway Entrance yet. First,head back to Williams,so that the quest is completed, and then you will be able to head through into the new area.
Marian Boss Fight
As you move through the new area, you will eventuallyencounter Marian, and initiate her boss fight.
For the fight itself, Marian has some prettypowerful hitting heavy attacks, andshe candash around the areato re-position and get up close to you quickly. Make sure you keep your wits about you so that you don’t get hit.
Aim tojump behind herwhen she startspushing up towards you,so that you are able to dodge her attack and also hit her from behind.
After beating the first bar out of three, you will move on to the next section of the fight as she starts doing severalarea-of-effectground slams. After she finishes with her ground slams, she willjump onto a safe platform and fill the stage with sludge, leaving onlythree small platformsfor you to jump on.
Marian’s attacks for this stage of the fight consist of herthrowing barrels of bricks at you.You cannot damage her during this stageand are required to jump between platforms so that you can avoid the barrels. Make sure not to fall into the sludge, or else it will cause you significant damage. To make this section easier, you can juststick to the left or right platformandjump onto the walls when a barrel would hit youand then bounce back off after the barrel has landed.
Once she has finished throwing her barrels,she will clear the stage of her sludge and will return to fighting up-close. She will have picked up a few new heavy attacks and they will allglow red causing an AOE effect.
This is just a harder version of the first phase of the fight as it allows for fewer errors, but fundamentally it is still the same brawl.Block the attacks where you canand jump behind her to punish them with a long string of light attacks. Once you have dealt another bar’s worth of damage, she will fill the stage with sludge again, and you will have to dodge barrels once more.
Then, for her final phase, she will start doing herSuper Charged Punch,which will attack indiagonal directions. This attackcannot be fully blocked, so focus on dodging it instead.
The fight is a difficult one, but after some practice, you will find that the different sections of her fight are all pretty similar, and before you know it, you’ll have mastered her moveset and beat her.
Once you beat her boss fight she will come to her senses and join your team. To play as her, you canselect her from the character selection screenorchange to her at any hideout.
