Sequels

Typically, Final Fantasy games have self-contained stories that do not rely on prequels, sequels, or spin-offs to see the full story. However, for a few games, this is not the case.

Final Fantasy X was the first game in the series to have this treatment, withFinal Fantasy X-2. This game is a direct sequel to Final Fantasy X, following Yuna on a new adventure after the events of the first game. Then,Final Fantasy X-2: Last Missionfollowed shortly after, offering an additional sequel to X-2 as the games' cast takes on one final mission together.
