Hearthstone’s latest expansion,Festival of Legends, has some of the strongest themes in recent memory. Each class is associated with a different genre of music, coming together for a battle of the bands at the Thousand Needles.

And with this theme come some fancy new cosmetics, including new Signature cards and card backs. But some of the most fun additions are the new Hero skin, which range from sax-playing Murlocs to hard-rocking Worgen. Here are the ten coolest hero skins you can spend your money on. They won’t improve your win rate on ladder, but you’ll at least feel better while losing.
Technomancer Saraad is a reference to Nexus-Champion Saraad, a popular card from back in the Grand Tournament. Although that expansion is generally viewed as one of the worst in Hearthstone’s history, Saraad was something of an exception, being one of the only useful iterations of the Inspire mechanic.

Saraad was actually available as a Hero skin in the past, but the version playing wizard disk-jockey is definitely cooler. If you want to play as the raddest ethereal around, pick up the Festival of Legends Tavern Pass.
9Mixqueen Azshara: Mage
Queen Azshara has set aside her dreams of world domination to pursue a career in creating “the dankest beats you’ve ever heard” (her flavor text’s words, not mine). And I wouldn’t bet against her; immense magical powers and extra arms are sure to come in handy while DJing.
At the very least, you have to hope her new hobby will distract her from trying to kill anyone in Azeroth she thinks is beneath her (which is pretty much everyone). Unfortunately, while Mixqueen Azshara was a free reward from the first Festival of Legends reward track, if you didn’t choose her, you’re out of luck, at least for a while.

8Smooth Jazz Morgl: Shaman
The Festival of Legends Tavern Pass has seen the return of Morgl the Oracle, Hearthstone’sresident MurlocHero. He’s made several appearances as a Hero in the past, and, as usual, Smooth Jazz Morgl doesn’t speak English, instead saying everything in his native Nerglish.

But this time, he’s picked up some sick sunglasses and a saxophone, which his flavor text suggests he plays by the power of cool alone. And those additions will make pretty much any character design better.
7Rock Angel Annhylde: Warrior
Unsurprisingly, Festival of Legends came with quite a few rock-adjacent Hero skins, and Rock Angel Annhylde is among the best. She’s a character from World of Warcraft, and a rather important one; she was a Val’kyr who sacrificed herself to resurrect Sylvanas Windrunner, one of the game’s most notable figures.
In Annhylde’s third appearance as a Warrior skin, the self-proclaimed “Angel of Rock” is reminiscent of female rock and metal vocalists like Lzzy Hale and Elize Ryd. If that sounds appealing to you (and it should), Rock Angel Annhylde can be acquired with the Festival of Legends Tavern Pass.

6Dame Groovybark: Druid
A new version of the kindly grandmother Dame Hazelbark, Dame Groovybark comes with a hippie twist. This time, the treehugger is literally a tree (well, Treant, but it’s the same idea).
The Dame’s previous iteration had a bit of menace behind some of her generally chill voice lines, and many players seem to find her rather unsettling. But Groovybark is all chill, all the time. Pick up this skin with the Festival of Legends Tavern Pass, put on some Grateful Dead, and just ride out the vibes.

5Inzah: Shaman
Inzah, who you can purchase from the shop, is a Vulpera, a relatively new addition to World of Warcraft. These fox people spent most of their history as slaves, and even now are nomadic scavengers.
But this particular Vulpera has escaped the dangerous life of his people, putting their innate resourcefulness and wanderlust to use in a new career as a jazz star. Inzah is not quite a jazz cat, since Vulpera are clearly based on fennec foxes, but he’s as close as you’re going to get.

4Halveria Darkraven: Demon Hunter
Demon Huntersare clearly the goths of World of Warcraft, so it’s no surprise that Halveria Darkraven’s demonic wings and horns fit perfectly with the pink-streaked hair and long, painted nails of an Emo Music star.
Aside from her theme, Halveria is actually a unique skin in some unexpected ways. She is currently Hearthstone’s only Worgen Hero skin, and is a rare example of a Worgen Demon Hunter, which isn’t actually possible to make in World of Warcraft. If you want one of the most unique Hero skins in Hearthstone for yourself, pick up the Festival of Legends Tavern Pass.

3Jazznaros The Vibe Lord: Shaman
Acquired by purchasing the Festival of Legends Tavern Pass, Jazznaros the Vibe Lord is just like Ragnaros, but with jazz. In many ways, he’s his usual Ragnaros self, dramatically shouting every voice line. He does have a more musical theme, with lines like “The vibes consume you!” and transforming his legendary hammer Sulfuron into a trumpet.

Given how angry he sounds, it seems the vibe referred to in his name must be rage. Although who knows; maybe Jazznaros can’t help but talk that way, and he really is cool as a summer breeze underneath.
2E.T.C.: Warrior
This list wouldn’t be complete without the Festival of Legends’ master of ceremonies himself, Elite Tauren Chieftain. Mascot for the greatest band to ever walk Azeroth, E.T.C. isn’t just a participant in the Festival; he’s running the whole show.
E.T.C.’s hits include legendary songs like Power of the Horde, Rogues do it from Behind, and of course, I am Murloc. If you want to dominate the ladder with the king of the Festival, you can buy him with the Elite Tauren Chieftain bundle from the shop.

1Hedanis: Priest
The main Hero for the Priest class, Anduin, has always been known for his sarcastic emotes, but Hedanis might top him. The arrogant Void Elf arrives with extremely flashy new animations for his entrance and Hero Power, and his haughtiness is reflected in voice lines like “I guess you have some talent,” and “Hello! Before you ask… it really is me!”
Sadly, you’re able to’t actually acquire Hedanis at the moment; he came as a bonus for pre-ordering Festival of Legends. If you bought it, though, you’re lucky enough to be in possession of a Hero who’s even sassier than Anduin.
