An exciting world with magic and monsters,Forspokenhas gotten off to a very rocky start, but it is still filled with challenges in its boss fights that you can enjoy trying to overcome as you explore the world and discover what it has to offer.

Within the world are many optional fights that you can wander into to test your skill and try out some of your new attacks and spell combos. One of these earlier fights that you are likely to encounter whilst wandering around the world is Gigas, the Abomination in Praenost.
Where To Find Gigas
We spend our time in this game in a world calledAthia, which has been ravaged by a magical plague, and we see its effects through all the different areas and biomes that make up the open area.
You will findGigas, one of the four abominations that act as the game’s hardest challenge, in the desert area in thePraenost Region.This is the easiest to find out of the four abominations, as it isn’t too far off the beaten path.
Simply fast-travel to theMount Garrison Refuge. From there, headsouthwest,and the symbol for Gigas should unlock on the map, but if not, continue to move southwest, heading up and around the hill where you will thenfind The Rock Beds, which is where Gigas can be found.
This guide is not for the Gigas found in theLocked Labyrinth, but the one found in theOverworld.
Gigas Boss Fight
Gigas is a massive boss and will look to do massive damage with big, heavy attacks.
Some things to note before the fight starts are that it is highlyresistant to Sila’s Red Magic, so stay away from using it as it won’t do much for you, and it isweak to Olas' Green Magic, which you should be aiming to use as much as possible to give yourself the edge in the fight.
Specifically,Olas' Electric Magicwill be powerful for this fight, and in fact, it is so effective, this should be your main spell for damage throughout the fight.
Moveset
The most important thing to remember for this fight (and also with the other abominations) is to alwayskeep moving as much as possibleso that you havea better chance of evading the attacks that can come out pretty fast.But ultimately, Gigas does not have that many moves for you to learn.
He has ajumping slam attackthat is indicated by ared cross, which gives you ample time to evade it.Later on in this fight, he can do this attack several times in a row, so make sure he has finished before you start getting close to him for the attacks.
There is a classiccharge attackthat can be evaded relatively easilyas long as you are paying attention.
One attack that is very difficult to dodge even with flow active is thefireballthat he throws at Frey as it istracking. For this attack, you want touse your environment to your advantageby simplyhiding behind one of the many rocksto protect you from the attack.
His last main attack is abig AOEwhere he sucks in debris around him, leading to a massive explosion. For this, it is best to justrun away from Gigasand wait for the AOE to finish before heading back into the fight.
Rewards
After you defeat Gigas, you will unlock a new set of nails -Fatale. These nails will make iteasier to knock down enemies, based on how many spells you have learned, and on top of that, allspell damage is increased by 2%.
Gigas is likely to be the first abomination you will fight and defeat,but it has plenty of useful experience to prepare you for what is to come in the future.
